Digital Displays Deliver High-Impact Info At Point Of Purchase

Automatic Data Processing (ADP), has launched IMPULSE, a revolutionary Digital Influence Merchandising display system, with full color, motion and high fidelity sound. This new sales/merchandising tool for automobile dealers delivers very controlled, high impact messages to prospects on the showroom floor. Dealership-specific messages are mixed with paid advertising from automobile and after-market manufacturers, financial institutions, oil companies, and insurers. Ad revenues subsidize the cost of an IMPULSE system, while increased sales of vehicles and after-market items boost dealer profits.

The basic IMPULSE package consists of plasma screens on the showroom floor, each beside a display model. Each screen delivers 10 minutes of product-specific messages. Each info segment contains short bursts of information on consumer automotive topics. Commercials related to the topics are interwoven.

“We believe in the market potential for Digital Influence Merchandising, and we are taking this opportunity to introduce the concept to retailers and advertisers,” said Paul Rindone, ADP Vice President of Product Marketing. ADP will be working closely with World Interactive Network as it brings this concept to market, according to Rindone.

For more information on IMPULSE, call World Interactive Network at 305-648-0600 or visit its Web site at www.2impulse.com.

The display features Harley Davidson Collector Tins that promote “Snacks for the road” and the unit is on display in over 400 Harley Davidson Stores nationwide. The Harley Logo is “popped out” from the duostone header with the use of 1" foam blocks. To learn more about this display contact Don Thaemert at P.O.P. Marketplace, Booth 7441; or call 651-227-3020.
