ExxonMobil Opens ‘On The Run’
Americans love life in the car, but they hate life on the road, according to Ben Soraci, U.S. Manager of ExxonMobil’s On The Run convenience stores.
To help provide a small oasis from the crowded highways, On The Run’s design engineers have designed each store’s layout with drivers’ needs in mind, to make it as easy as possible to find what they want, in a friendly atmosphere. On The Run convenience stores are easily accessible from the highway and offer light meals and stimulating beverages to give weary drivers a break from the road.
Shell Displays Enhanced Gift Card Program
Shell Oil Products US has launched an enhanced gift card program. The Shell Gift Card is an effective way of introducing consumers to the brand and giving motorists the opportunity to experience Shell services and products.
According to David Bunch, the Company’s Manager of credit cards, gift cards are one of the fastest growing categories and most valuable marketing tools available. “With the largest number of retail stores in the U.S., our retail footprint and brand strength give Shell a distinct competitive advantage in gift card marketing,” he said.
Each retailer that signs up for the Shell Gift Card program will receive newly designed point-of-purchase materials including this counter display, as well as an inventory of Shell Gift Cards. Shell Gift Cards will be sold at participating Shell stations, Walgreens, Safeway and Safeway-affiliated stores.
SoBe & Jeep Launch Joint Promotion
SoBe Beverages and Jeep have formed a marketing partnership designed to reach consumers through several events across the country.
A one-of-a-kind SoBe Jeep Wrangler Rubicon will be on display at Jeep 101, Jeep Music Trax and Camp Jeep events throughout the summer. Beginning with Jeep 101, a 12-stop driving experience with both on- and off-road courses, SoBe will offer free beverage samples to event-goers. SoBe sampling will also be incorporated into the ten-stop Jeep Trax concert tour, which features the Counting Crows. At Camp Jeep events SoBe will sponsor the Thrills and Spills arena, where consumers can participate in and view numerous action sports.
ExxonMobil 1 Promotes At Racing Events
Exxon Mobil recently used this Xtra Lite Display system to create a hospitality area for the Exxon Mobil 1 Race Team before and during the Daytonna 2004 races.
The portable Mobil 1 exhibit and signage was very successful and even stood up under some 30 mile an hour wind gusts.

Dodge And Got Milk? Partner For ‘Shake Stuff Up’ Tour
Got Milk? is partnering with Dodge for the “Shake Stuff Up” tour, as part of a nationwide effort to showcase new milk flavors and educate consumers about the nation's calcium crisis.
The tour will travel more than 60,000 miles and conduct more than 400 events in 100 cities in less than eight months.
Dodge donated three of its new Sprinter commercial vans for the cross-country grassroots campaign.
At events across the country, the Dodge Sprinters will stop at retail stores and special events to showcase new milk flavors and engage consumers with information, giveaways and interactive games conducted directly from the vehicles.
Continental Launches Mobile Mktg. Promo.
Continental Teves, a supplier of automotive safety technologies, is conducting its U.S. “Safely There” mobile marketing campaign.
Continental’s custom designed tractor-trailer is traveling throughout the U.S. to educate consumers about onboard safety systems available in vehicles. The trailer has interactive educational kiosks with realistic driving simulations created by Norwood, MA-based Cramer, a media productions company that also developed the “Safely There” campaign.
Cramer leveraged the same type of 3D computer graphic technology used in contemporary video games to make the driving simulations as realistic and exciting as possible. The driving simulations also incorporate force feedback including tension and vibration in the steering wheel, as well as the rapid pulsing sensation in the brake pedal felt when anti-lock brakes are working.

This merchandiser for the new HJC series of motorsports helmets are currently debuting nationwide in motorcycle, snowmobile and ATV dealers throughout the USA. The display showcases 25 of the new AC series helmets while only taking up a 7.82 square feet within the dealer's showroom. The design makes the helmet the focal point of the display and creates a dramatic billboard affect.

The Bosch InfoldR features an interactive design which provides product feature and benefit information at the point of sale. This interactive, patented shelf mounted information device installs onto any standard gondola shelf. Its unique accordion folding design invites the consumer to pull the tab to reveal more information. It is printed on glossy tag stock material and uses elastic to keep its compressed shape. The compressed size is 5" wide x 4" tall and the expanded size is 5" wide by 2l" tall and offers l05 square inches of advertising space on the gondola shelf.
