Great Brands of Europe Lighted Bottle Glorifier
This display was designed to enhance the specially designed Millennium, as well as all Evian glass bottles, in the “on premise” environment. This lighted bottle glorifier consists of a lit translucent base, a screened product logo, and blue edge lit platform. The result was a spectacular showcase achievement by illuminating the bottle from below the platform. This accentuated the unusual bottle and graphic configurations. It also prominently stressed the clarity of the product. The Great Brands of Europe Lighted Bottled Glorifier was created by Displayonix Corporation, 251 Route 59, Spring Valley, NY 10977.
Nintendo of America Video Game Cabinet
Nintendo of America, Inc. wanted a dedicated secure space for calling attention to and merchandising Nintendo N64 Video games. The video game cabinet highlights the colorful graphics on game packaging and promotes "hit" games with full motion and sound. The video cabinet was placed in K-B Toy Stores and offers glass locking cabinet doors, back-lit illuminated header graphics and a customized color television as a video disc player that promotes the latest trailers of new games. The Nintendo of America Video Game Cabinet was created by Frank Mayer & Associates, Inc., 1975 Wisconsin Avenue, Grafton, WI 53024.
Golden Books Rotating Floor Display
Golden Books wanted a versatile display to merchandise children's books and workbooks with full-facing exposure in a minimum amount of floor area. The design features injection-molded 2 inch slatwall for maximum flexibility. Injection-molded trays provide product protection and reliance against the bumps and hits a children's display is subjected to. The colorful displays were enthusiastically received at retail. The versatile unit permitted the publisher to custom-tailor a wider variety of books to specific markets. The Golden Books Rotating Floor Display was created by Display Products N.A. Aquarian Flake Fish Food Corrugated Floor Stand
This attractive floorstand captures the consumer's attention with its bright and colorful graphics and aquatic theme. The display uses a 3 tier display to offer three varieties of sizes. It reinforces the brand name by featuring it on the header, base, as well as all three shelves. FAO Schwarz Optical Eyeglass Glorifier
The FAO Schwarz Optical Eyeglass Glorifier was designed to merchandise and support the launch of the FAO Schwarz line of eyeglasses. This unit was constructed out of styrene, sintra, pressure sensitive vinyl, and acrylic. The unit reinforced the playful image of the FAO Schwarz brand. The display was also made to be both cost effective and appealing to both children and adults. This Glorifier was designed and manufactured by The Royal Promotion Group, 119 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019.
Minami Icicle Demonstrator
This compact, effective and economical display was designed to advertise and demonstrate the visual effect of holiday lighting. The unit was easy to place, attaching to store fixture shelving with one strip of twinstick. Battery operation allowed the unit to be placed in a variety of shelf locations. The display was small in size, but big on visual impact and occupied the width of only one product box. The sloped roof of the corrugated unit blocks the ambient store light and allows the product to be seen in a realistic simulation. The sloped top piece contains succinct product information highlighting important product features. A combination of materials and new technology simply and clearly demonstrated the product. Nestle Giant Bottle ICEMAN
A national rollout of new NesQuick packaging with multiple flavors and with reusable screw top caps, was launched in October, 2000. The objective of the merchandising piece was to create consumer awareness and curiousity with a giant replica of the new NesQuick packaging. This unique ice barrel is constructed of high impact styrene, printed six colors, vacuum formed die cut and assembled. Schlage Lock “Maximum Security” Surround Trim Kit
Schlage Lock Company needed to bring attention to its new “Maximum Security” line of products in the warehouse store environment and to educate the consumer on the features and benefits of the lock. The kit contained a 4-color graphic panel trapped in a custom extrusion, a “Flip” product Guide, a screen printed heat bent header, and a unique slide out lock mount. Sales increases of well over 50% per store were reported. The Schlage Lock “Maximum Security” Surround Trim Kit was created by Mark Novak & Associates, Inc., 149 N. Sennheiser Headphones Merchandising Display
Sennheiser Headphones are being merchandised in this permanent fixture in upscale electronic and audio retailers. The design fits well in store environments and is also functional as consumers can test the headphones easily from the display. Fluorescent lights illuminate the silk-screened styrene graphic panel and the metal arms allow for easy access to the product. The unit contains an audio-cord retraction system inside which helps maintain the display's neat and tidy appearance. Electronic devices manage the sample Compact Disc audio. 99 Bananas Inflatable 48" Bananar
99 Bananas wanted to increase awareness of the brand as well as the “Banana Shooter” drink, and thus increase sales. A large inflatable 48" Banana was created printed with graphics relating to the product as well as the “Banana Shooter” drink. Hooks and strings were provided for hanging in package stores above end aisle displays of 99 Banana cases. The inflatables were used in conjunction with printed media exposure. The inflatables achieved increases in sales of the product in double digits plus increases of requests for drinks in bar establishments. Procter & Gamble, SA Luvs Deluxe
A stock Display was used to promote Luvs Deluxe displays through the use of a giveaway “Pacifier Pal,” free pacifier, with the purchase of a package of diapers. This display (SD109A with Header) was produced using #200 bleached white corrugated material along with a 4-color process litho labeled Header card. The finished display was packed flat (KDF), collated in individual mailers including instruction sheets for easy in-store set up. The promotion was a complete success resulting in an over 90% sell-through. The Luvs Deluxe Stock Display was created by Alpak Manufacturing Corporation, 181 Boyd Street, P.O. Jim Beam Brands Illuminated Display
Jim Beam Brands Illuminated display with integrated digital clock, was designed to increase top-of-the mind awareness of Jim Beam Brands. The objective of the promotional campaign was to establish/maintain a long-term presence using a P.O.P. display. The clock was integrated to ensure multiple viewings. The campaign focuses on repeat viewings to increase brand awareness. The illuminated display with integrated clock attracts attention and allows the consumer to become familiar with the product. Redken “Air Box” Display
Redken 5th Avenue, NYC, recently launched a new product, Airtight 12 Lockout Finishing Hair Spray, which guards against humidity, UV rays, pollution and smoke; and locks in a long lasting hold. To create excitement at retail, Redken and Air Packaging Technologies, Inc., developed a unique display which suspends the Airtight Can inside an inflatable packaging known as “Air Box”. The Air Box sits in a corrugated base printed in metallic ink with a UV finish. The finished display takes advantage of the “Wow”" affect of the Air Box, intriguing consumers as it looks like the product is virtually floating in air. Retailers are enthusiastic about the display. 30,000 displays were distributed to Salons throughout the country during January, 2000. Floor Graphics From T & T Graphics
T & T Graphics Inc. offers floor graphics which may be used to gain market share as well as to win customers. The floor graphics shown were designed to attract customers to the products advertised. Research has indicated that point of purchase promotions can shift customer purchases as much as 58%. The companies using these floor graphics reported increased sales during the time of the promotion and have ordered additional floor graphic presentations. Remington Arms Company, Inc. Three-Sided Floor Spinner
This 3-sided floor spinner display is constructed from metal and is used to merchandise shotgun barrels and chokes. The display has a durable powder finish and features strong brand identity. The Remington logo is screened on the end panels and top three sections of the display. The unit was designed to increase consumer awareness of product availability. Coors Light Indy Car Custom Inflatable
The 40" custom inflatable formula style race car provides an attractive image in-store, helping to attract the consumer at the point-of-purchase. A creative idea can be translated into a custom made replica, from small on-packs and hanging displays to giant stand-up displays for indoor or outdoor use. NBO (Neighborhood Box Office) Gift Certificate Kiosk
NBO wanted a kiosk to distribute mall gift certificates in a major way. A new kiosk was designed to sell its mall gift certificate program. Cutting edge CAD design was used to produce a 3-D prototype which sold the new kiosk program. 30 kiosks were produced in time for the holiday shopping season. The upscale looking kiosk combines molded composites, intricate woodwork and accent lighting, which fits well in the high profile locations where the kiosk was used. The program was so successful NBO is currently deploying a network of its kiosks in grocery stores and mass merchandisers. City Brewery Back Bar Motion Display
This display was designed to stand out visually in on-premise establishments. The objective was to create awareness of a new Wisconsin brewer, La Crosse-based City Brewery, in prestigious on-premise retail establishments. The unit allows versatility to advertise existing and future specialty City Brewery beer brands. The unit is constructed of light maple wood measuring 12” high by 12” wide by 6” deep, to fit the back bar. The display features the brand's river scenic and riverboat icon and in the background. A Hankscraft solar energy motor oscillates the brewery logo to attract attention. To further attract attention, a battery operated red flashing LED is positioned on the riverboat. City Brewery plans to use the display as a reward given to retailers selling the complete City Brewery brand portfolio. Rawlings Sporting Goods ”All Star” Glove Display
This display was designed to capitalize on Rawlings pro baseball player endorsements and offers replica player gloves to consumers. The unit was designed as a 3 sided spinner with each side representing one pro ball player, with a litho printed action photo at the top. A graphic kit was provided with each display which allowed each retailer to customize their product offering on the display based on player popularity. A&W Float Bridge Serves As Cross-Merchandiser
The A&W Float Bridge was created as an extension of Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up's marketing efforts to tie the brand with ice cream floats. The Float Bridge is designed to suspend 36 two liter bottles of A&W Root Beer across the top of ice cream coffin coolers-creating a "true bridge" both technically and conceptually. The display's placement encourages consumers to purchase both ice cream and root beer to make floats, and also maximizes the value while utilizing previously unused space. The bridge's design tells consumers that ice cream is below the display and soda is on top--”Take one of each and make a float.” The A&W Float Bridge was created by Display Technologies, 111-01 14th Avenue, College Point, NY 11356.
Rothman's of France Fiberoptic Signage
Rothman's of France required eye-catching signage for its products. Tobacco companies are limited in the amount of graphics allowed on signs. Rules vary by country, but for the most part, animals, cute and youthful stimulus is forbidden. In an attempt to recreate a brand image with strong memory retention, the usual Kangaroo on the Winfield logo was removed and replaced with “jumps”. The name Winfield was shortened to Win…d. These signs with the brightness and implied motion afforded by fiber optics, proved very attractive. Two revolving floor displays were created to provide a complete Health Care Center in very little space. The fixtures are pre-packed with a wide assortment of herbal products as well as literature to help consumers make an educated choice. Nike Pavilion Features Treeosk™ Display
This new Treeosk™ display is the ultimate small footprint stand-alone interactive retail system. It features Apple's IMac Computer with Elo's iTouch technology. The IMac and Treeosk were featured at the Nike Pavilion in the Interactive Park at the Winter X Games V at Mount Snow, Vermont. Corona Floating Pool Bar Inflatable
The Gambrinus Company wanted a unique inflatable to serve as an attractive promotional vehicle as well as a fun and functional addition for the back yard. The Corona Floating pool bar is constructed with several recessed drink/can holders as well as recess in the center to hold a standard size cooler. Colorful graphics are also printed on the bottom of the pool bar for “underwater” advertising. This inflatable received many re-orders.
