Staples Pods Showcase Multiple Brands

The primary objective of this Sanford "Staples Pods" was to build a display that showcased multiple product brands. The eye-catching display stayed within the allotted footprint. Multiple product categories fall under the Sanford Brands umbrella, so each side of the pod focused on a particular brand (Sharpie, Expo, Papermate and Sharpie Accent) with coordinating colors. This program featured l,400 displays and was created by U.S. Display Group, Tullahoma, TN.


Pottery Barn Paint Color Solution Center

The Pottery Barn Paint Color Solution Center showcases new colors in sample sizes produced by Benjamin Moore & Co.. Consumers take the custom paint samples home to experiment, and then return to the retailer to buy gallon-size paints. The counter display was created with a vacuum form structure. The curved shape and contemporary color attract consumer attention. Its internal design enables the unit to accommodate the weight of 60 paint samples, which are shipped as prepacked counter displays. The displays ship with paint samples preloaded and installed. This display was created by Multi Dimensional Resources, 190 Jony Drive, Carlstadt, NJ 07072.


Yellow Tail Sparkling Floor Stand

This permanent floor stand was featured by Yellow Tail to introduce its sparkling wine. It is constructed of Melamine and Acrylic. The display holds three cases, 36 bottles of wine in a small footprint. The unit is on casters so that it can be placed as needed in the retail environment. The attractive header calls attention with the phrase "do you sparkle".The Yellow Tail Sparkling Floor Stand was created by Flair Display Inc., 3920 Merritt Avenue, Bronx, New York 10466.


Weleda Skin Care Products Display

This display was used to introduce Weleda, a leading European brand of organic skin care products, to U.S. Consumers. The objective was to instantly build consumer awareness of the four types of "Sea Buckthorn" lotions with an eye-catching, brightly colored display that "pops" in the retail environment. The display arrives ready-to-sell and can be easily used as a wing rack or a floor stand. It is constructed of E flute with offset printing for the wing, with a riser made of B flute and offset print for the base. The Weleda Skin Care Products Display was created by Menasha Packaging, 60l E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA l9l34.


RHINO Floorstand

RHINO designs and manufactures easy-to-use and affordable label printers for cabling contractors, security system installers, electrical supply stores and distributorships. They required a display to educate consumers about the different features of these new products. The display had to be easily restocked and organized. The design features RHINO's trademark orange and black color design. The unit houses compete labeling systems from guns to tapes in one compact footprint and provides product information. The RHINO Floorstand was created by New Dimensions Research Corp., 260 Spagnoli Road, Melville, NY 11747.


Toasted Head Wines Picnic Table Display

Toasted Head Wines wanted to convey the fun, outdoor recreational aspect of the brand. Sterling Promotional Corp. designed and developed this unique and patent-pending convertible picnic table/garden bench to unite the outdoor environment of The Bear with the toasted barrel flavor of the wine. The table/bench was used in grocery stores as a display enhancer and dealer loader. This table often was placed in the front of the stores to promote entertaining and picnicking. This display was created for Toasted Head Wines by Sterling Promotional Corp., 558 Westchester Avenue, Rye Brook, NY 10573.


Red Man Smokeless Tobacco Launch

Swedish Match extended its Red Man brand and launched the new product with this Red Man Mirror Display. The image of the can, which features a raised relief imprint, was very important in the marketing strategy, so that this mirror which strongly replicates the image, was one of the items chosen as P.O.P for the launch. The promotion campaign featured l0,000 displays which were distributed to smoke shops, convenience stores and retail stores. A CNC cut screen printed mirror was used to replicate the can lid. The Red Man Smokeless Tobacco Mirror was created by Heritage Sign and Display, Inc., 344 Industrial Road, Nesquehoning, PA 18240.


Mighty Storm Guard Display

This floor display combines steel tubing, wire and screen-printed plastic panels. The side panels showcase a new brand of wiper blades, called "Storm Guard" while the header card and "Mighty" logo create depth. The display is curved to provide continuity to the curved windshield wipers it is promoting. Casters allow for easy mobility. The display holds a maximum of product in a minimum amount of floor space. The Mighty Storm Guard Display was created by Metaline Displays With A Twist, 101 North Feltus Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.


Old-Wisconsin Full View Merchandiser

This eye-catching display was designed for multiple products to entice customers. The unit presents a neat, clean country store appeal and makes selection easy. The display provides custom baskets, universal hook bars with ball and flip grid hooks. The baskets are designed for efficiency enabling the ability to add side racks. The Old Wisconsin Sausage Co. Merchandiser was created by Midway Displays Inc., 6554 South Austin Avenue, Bedford Park, IL 60638.

Kodak Battery Spinner

This unique shaped 2-sided floor display features styrene end panels that are a replica of a battery. The 2-sided styrene header sign is inter-changeable. Black peg panels are adjustable and provide flexibility. Metal parts have black powder finish and the lazy susan MDF base has a textured black powder finish. The Kodak Battery spinner was created by Nashville Display, 2306 Hartmann Dr., Lebanon, TN 37087.


American Girl Permanent Spinner Display

The main objective for this display was to consolidate all of American Girl's books into one location at the retail channel. The goal was to create a "one stop" shop. The display body is constructed of printed MDF side panels, die-stained MDF caps and Melamine clad base components. This spinning display ships KD and assembles in less than 10 minutes. The American Girl Permanent Display Spinner was created by Great Northern Corp., Consumer Packaging and Display, 1800 South Street, Racine, WI 53404.


Hunter Fan Permalife Display

This display was designed for the Hunter Fan Company. The unit, named the Twin Pack Display, features two Hunter Fan air purifiers. The customer is encouraged to purchase two units so that they can be placed in multiple environments. The display created a strong presence for Hunter Fan Company and achieved increased sales at Sams Club. The unit measures 27"h x 43"w x l2" d and weighs a surprisingly light 22 lbs. The Hunter Fan Permalife Display was created by New Business Solutions, Inc.,1F Enterprise Pl. Hicksville, New York 11801.


Lucite Color Display

La Prairie required a compact version of their Color Display to test a limited number of products in a simple but luxurious counter unit. Using a 22" x l6" footprint, a clear acrylic unit was designed and fabricated with multiple layers. This layering allowed the products to be viewed and tested in both a horizontal and vertical position. The clear polished acrylic showcases the product colors and the luxurious La Prairie product packaging from all angles. The Lucite Color Display was created by Nikles Design Corp., 2365 Milburn Ave., Bldg. #4, Baldwin, NY 11510.


Armstrong Vinyl Tile Merchandiser

This object of this display was to create a new, more compact unit yet with a larger capacity. The unit is used in Architectural Firms, Graphic Design Studios and Specifiers' offices. The display features a ¾" MDF Back Panel and is hung on a wall using a metal cleat for easy, yet firm installation. The structure of the unit is made from wire and sheet metal. Armstrong found substantial increases in sales of the VCT product in response to this new, higher capacity display. The Armstrong VCT Merchandiser was created by United Displaycraft, 333 E. Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, IL 600l8.


Cash Register Display For Wal-Mart

This innovative display is about 2 feet tall by 5 inches square, and wraps around the pole that shields the wires powering each cash register. The display creates a unified home for a collection of financial service products, such as credit cards and product care plans. It also creates a tidy, uniform look at check out lanes. With an average of 22 pole fixtures per store, a significant number of units that had to be manufactured, shipped and installed. The MCI team recommended a lightweight and durable, high-impact polystyrene structure with a removable back panel for easy installation. The Wal-Mart Cash Register Display was created by Marketing Communications Inc., 950 Visibility Dr. NW, Suite A, Comstock Park, MI 49321.


"All-Natural" Fertilizer Display

This display introduces a new "all-natural" fertilizer which is environmentally friendly and is actually l00% worm poop, marketed in used soda bottles, thereby reducing waste in the environment through the sale of the product. The display’s green graphics illustrate the product benefits and reinforce the environmentally friendly nature of the product. Alpak Display Group was selected for this project in part because of its commitment to pursuing environmentally friendly P.O.P. Alpak was one of the first display companies in the country to convert its oil-based press into a water-based press and one of the first to set up an in-house ink-treatment waste system. Alpak makes its own paper utilizing state-of-the-art corrugating processes eliminating waste and residue. This All Natural Fertilizer display was created by Alpak Display Group, 575 N. Midland Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663.


Monroe International Neon Sign

This neon electric sign with coordinated neon yellow color was designed to identify the brand. Backlite was added to enhance the printed graphic. The sign offers the option to independently light the exterior neon or an interior flash option is included. The neon display is housed in an injection molded frame. The objective was to create a unique branded sign which could be used for six different Monroe brands for dealer locations in the US and Canadian markets. The design selected was included in the dealer program to be positioned as needed and for window placement. The Monroe International Neon Sign was created by Focus Display Group, 10328 Highlands West Drive, Escondido, CA 92029.


Avia "Performance Running" Display

This display introduced the Performance Running line to the serious athlete and drew attention to the new technologies incorporated into the latest line of professional workout shoes. The display featured a built in high energy Plasma Spark Generator under the "hero" shoe platform and with the aid of a die cut reflective wedge of clear plastic, created the appearance of lightning sparks blasting up into the shoe. The compact 2-sided footprint of the display presents twelve shoes yet easily fits in aisles, corners, against walls and close to check lanes. The Avia "Performance Running Shoe Display” was created by Cornerstone Display Group, 13834 Del Sur St., San Fernando, CA 91340.
