Manco 4-Way Office Solutions Outpost
The objective for this merchandiser was to generate impulse sales by developing a free-standing display/merchandiser which stocks 4 basic office supply staples normally found only on gondola runs. By positioning the highly visible Outpost in a high-traffic area, shoppers would be reminded to pick up items, which they've been meaning to purchase. This 48" x 48" 4-Way Office Solutions Outpost features 4 interlocking sides constructed of a powder coated tubing frame with Pegboard inserts. Peg hooks and wire shelves hold the product assortment of tapes, mailing supplies and office products. Wood end panels covered by pressure sensitive graphics finish off the 4 corners. Each Outpost is secured to a molded plastic pallet and is shipped with all merchandise pre-packed. Sales have been above expectations with the Outpost program emerging as one of Manco's most successful vehicles of the year. Midwest Quality Gloves “Glove Hut”
The “Glove Hut” Theme was designed to fit into any home improvement store environment indoor or outdoor. The objective was to cross merchandise gloves with garden items, provide weather resistance, good product visibility, product identity and the unit had to be mobile and easy to restock. The 1" square steel frame with cross wires supported the weight of 16 pre-pack boxes of gloves and also made restocking the display easy, by just hanging a pre-loaded box of gloves on the cross wires. Weather resistance was gained by creating a full length enclosure and roof made of corrugated plastic. The sides and pitched roof with eves shed water. Clear PETG is used for product visibility and doors are hinged at the top so they can’t be left open. All exterior components are mounted to a steel frame for strength. Blacktop Tower Display Program
Reebok launched its Blacktop Collection, a footwear basketball line and teamed up with Foot Locker to capture a larger share of the male athlete market. The program launched in 1500 stores included a free-standing footwear tower whose objective was to establish Blacktop as 'The Shoe' for the Outdoor Game. The Tower Display was created with steel, asphalt and a basketball rim. The look is similar to a schoolyard. Booth Reebok and Foot Locker said the campaign had met or exceeded performance expectations. Flexinator Display Offers Expandable Width
The Flexinator, with expandable width, can accommodate more items during a specific promotion, and has the ability to be able to change locations within a store setting as well as the entire look of the display itself. The Flexinator is 55" W x 43" D x 88" H, and can expand to 64" wide. The Flexinator can hold 27 two liter bottles; 12 ˝ liter 6 packs on the side shelves; 54 two liter bottles on the middle shelves with a total liter capacity of 540 bottles. The Flexinator accommodates the changing promotions as required and offers the ability to hold different items of the same or different sizes. It can achieve many different looks by changing the graphics and the pallet, along with the width, and can work in different type store locations. Shown is the Flexinator in use for Coca-Cola and it may be used by other beverage companies as well. Kellogg's In Line Supermarket Merchandiser
Form follows retail function and this display was designed to fit against supermarket shelving acting as an end cap with a maximum height of 54" and maximum width of 48". The use of a 3" diameter clear acrylic tube allowed for branding of the display and product by placing a graphic with the header tube. Retailers are reporting outstanding sales results of Kellogg's convenience foods attributed to the placement of this custom merchandiser. Speedway/SuperAmerica Visa Application Promotion
Visa recently ran an applications promotion which featured Affordable Floor Graphics and Gas Pump Siders at 2700 Convenience store locations. 27 floor graphics die cut to 24x 36" were printed on .004 vinyl base material with .006 Safari overlaminate. 16,000 Gas Pump Siders, 7" x 9" in .030 White Styrene were used to provide impact for the promotion. Used for the Pump mounting were adhesive backed rabbit ear extrusions with a Viking Clip. Through the effective coordinated use of outside gas pump side graphics, backed up with inside floor graphics, Visa applications were expected to soar. The promotion emphasized the benefits of signing up: no annual fee, free gas, free groceries. The high quality 4 color process printing employed provided the impact to bring this promotion to life. Mothers Cookies Milk Carton Display
This display was designed to merchandise cookies in other areas of the grocery store where cookies and cakes normally do not appear. The unit is used in the dairy and freezer sections and is also used to promote seasonal specialties. All the graphic panels are silk-screened styrene. The two longer side panels have literature pockets that can be used for consumer information. The topper is constructed of a vacuum form piece and two plastic sheets that are joined together to form the milk carton topper. The tubing structure and five wire shelves support up to 50 pounds of product per shelf. The unit is easy to move as it is equipped with two locking casters and two swivel casters, and it is shoppable from both sides. Graphics panels are interchangeable for various promotions. This program has been extremely successful and additional units are now in production. Coors Light July 4th Promotion
Coors Brewing launched a Fourth of July campaign featuring these Inflatables. The unique design of the Stars & Stripes air mattress made an attractive eye-catching display. These air mattresses are functional and their bright colors and outstanding graphics helped strengthen the Coors Light brand position. The air mattress was made in two sizes: 72" x 38" and 96" x 51". The three inflatable stars with streamers were used at the point of sale for added impact. Johnnie Walker Scotsfest 2000 Floorstand
This Mega Display for Johnnie Walker holds at least three cases of the product. The unit has a small footprint encouraging acceptance and use by retailers. The display includes a lock-box, which allows the floor display of two premium marquees, Blue Label and Gold Label. Wood barrel shelves hold the bottles. Contemporary typography and graphics offset the traditional look of the display. Body Glove Footwear Inflatable Shelf and Logo Displays
The Warren Group is featuring this inflatable slatwall shelf to hold Body Glove shoes along with the inflatable Body Glove "Oval Logo" to suspend over its Body Glove shoe display rack. The overhead and eye level displays in bright yellow and black and the hanging logo draw attention to the unusual display. The inflatable shelf is a "touch and feel" display. The program greatly improved "new product recognition" versus stores using traditional slatwall shelves by 25%. Ease of use contributes to the success of these displays because they actually make it onto the retail floor. Duracell Ultra Batteries Floor Spinner Rack
Tweeter Home Entertainment Group recommends and carries only Duracell Ultra batteries for the high end electronic devices they sell. Tweeter wanted an exciting new floor spinner rack that conveyed the value-added look of a high tech battery product suitable for their customers. The unit's design consists of curved steel tubes, forming three rotating wings to display the batteries. The tubes were powder coated in an electric blue color that matched the blister packaging. The display captures the energy of the high tech Ultra logo and its compact design makes shopping and restocking the display easy. The display has been rolled out nationally at Tweeter Home Entertainment locations and it receives prominent placement in high traffic areas. Duracell Ultra sales have increased 11% since deployment of this display. Counter Top Graphics Attract Attention
Polyplastic Forms Inc. has introduced counter top graphics, which may be used to draw attention to specific retail areas, to direct store traffic, or to promote a product or service. The graphics are easily installed with no messy glue application or residue. Any type of graphics may be accommodated including colors, logos, or pictures. They provide a non-skid surface. Cuervo 1800 Lit Bottle Display
This display was designed as a replica of a Mayan temple using cast polyurethane for a base with authentic hand hammered tin for the backing and header. The display is illuminated to highlight the product. The display enhances the brand image utilizing multimedia in the manufacturing process to create eye appeal, securing premium retail counter space and increased sales. The display has met its sales and marketing goals and also increased SKU facing by creating a two-sided display. Corona Beer Inflatable Display
The objective of the display was to create the association of beer on ice as a very appealing way to buy the brand. The unit was displayed alongside floor barrels with ice at the point of sale. The inflatable replicates six bottles of Corona Beer in a bucket of ice. The unit was so authentic looking that consumers reached for a cold bottle to purchase from the bucket. Corona has continually benefited every year for the past eight years from additional sales when the inflatable bucket was on hand during the summer selling season. Glamour Tek Full Line Cosmetics Tester
The Glamour Tek Full Line Cosmetics Tester was designed to test and merchandise the Glamour Tek cosmetics line. This unit was designed to merchandise the product using its unique packaging instead of using a traditional pan. The unit was constructed out of powder coated steel and acrylic templates. The unit reinforced the line's technologically based image. Kahlua Shape Write™ Display With Lighted Logo & Write On Surface
This display was designed to provide a highly visible, versatile unit to increase long-term brand recognition in mid-range to upscale venues and to promote the use of Kahlua as an ingredient in mixed drinks. The edge-lighted acrylic write-on surface creates a brilliant highly visible sales message. The top of the display uses back lighted, screen printed acrylic to feature the Kahlua brand name. The printed face can be removed and replaced in the field allowing the vendor to change the message to tie in with future promotions. The light source for the top and edge-lit message is a standard fluorescent lighting fixture for economical illumination and ease of maintenance. Arizona Children's Footwear Merchandiser
Arizona wanted to merchandise its children's footwear in an appealing manner that would attract attention and achieve good sales impact and take away. The display had to provide great visibility and distribution of product as well as increase brand awareness. This colorful, distinctive display can be shopped from two sides and features vacuum formed alphabet end panels and logo. The logo is screened to colors on the two-sided header. The rectangular tubular frame and the safety prongs have a white powder finish. Casters provide mobility of the display. This display provided chain department stores with an effective, distinct merchandiser that achieved sales objectives. Hanes Banner & Tablecloth
This Hanes Opaque Tights Banner and tablecloth for Sara Lee Hosiery, features 4-color printed fabric banners, a satin barrel tablecloth and a terrycloth fabric printed overlay. The major objective was to design a banner and table setup to draw attention to the latest hosiery product containing a built in moisturizer, for display in the hosiery department of major department stores. A cosmetic approach was desired and achieved through the use of fabric highlighted by the terrycloth overly. This setup has been very well received in hosiery departments due to the eye catching graphics and use of fabrics. It has attracted consumers to inquire about the new product and has led to impulse purchase. Metabolife Floorstand Inc National Rollout
This display was designed to introduce a product to the retail market that has been previously sold by direct sales only. The display is e flute corrugated litho laminated with a gravity feed dispenser. This unique dispenser holds 24 or 36 bottles and can be used as a floorstand or powerwing. The corrugated base has a 24 pt. “Lug on Bottle” to create a 3D effect. The display can be refilled from the top. In a period of 4 weeks, the display was designed, produced, assembled, packaged and 20,000 displays were distributed for the rollout. Inflatable Deer Used In-Store For Hunting Season
This inflatable deer replica was distributed to hunting supply stores in the Fall Hunting Season to capture the attention of hunters in the store. The inflatable, which is mounted on a wooden plaque, was hung over mass displays of beer cases. The inflatable is 30" high and was shipped to the stores deflated and was inflated on site. Schlage Lock Company Home Depot Lock Aisle
The Schlage Lock Company asked Mark Novak & Associates to help redesign the Home Depot Lock Aisle. A modular trim kit was created that presented the product in a clean, contemporary setting. This was fabricated of clear coated textured steel, with a morrored lock mounted section and dimensional headers. This system provided complete flexibility for the various aisle lengths and was used for the whole aisle. Stock Displays Offered In Various Configurations
Art-Phyl Creations has added several new products to its stock line over the past year. The super Tri-Panel is a three-sided stock revolving floor display that uses modular 18" x 24" plastic peg panels to create 18 sq. ft. of display area in only 3.2 sq. ft. of floor space. Other products include stack trays, revolving bucket and bin displays and a 72 position clip bag displayer. All units are available from stock form Art-Phyl Creations, P.O. Prescriptives Counter Unit
The objective of this display was to provide a temporary counter top unit incorporating the look and feel of a permanent unit, at the cost of using temporary materials, while still conveying an upscale image. The design of this display allowed the client's packaging graphics high visibility in both the tray and on the riser. Areas on the tray were built to hold samples of the actual products allowing consumers to test the make-up. The client was very pleased with the end result. Pepsi-Cola Company 3-Message Prismatic Display
This TriAd® 3-message prismatic display was produced for restaurants and convenience stores that serve fountain soda. The display shows an image of Diet Pepsi, and fountain Pepsi. The purpose of the display is to remind/inform customers that Pepsi products were used for the fountain soda.
