Frieda’s New Shipper Presents Ready-To-Use Crepes
Frieda’s, the Los Angeles, CA-based specialty produce firm, recently changed its packaging for its Ready-to-Use French Style Crepes and is now shipping a classic, Round-Shaped Crepe. As a way to create some excitement at retail, for a limited time, Frieda's is producing a crepe shipper.
Each shipper holds 4 cases of Crepes and is perfect for the biggest Crepe season: Valentine’s Day, Easter and Mother’s Day.
With shoppers spending more of their food dollars in the grocery store, Frieda’s suggests retailers give them an easy way to make a "special dessert" and recommends displaying the Crepes near fresh strawberries and other berry displays.
Cargill Displays New Truvia Natural Sweetener
Cargill has launched an integrated marketing campaign for Truvia natural sweetener, the new natural, zero calorie sweetener made with the stevia leaf. The marketing campaign includes TV advertising, print and point-of-sale materials.
Zanna McFerson, director at Cargill Health & Nutrition, "The marketing campaign to launch Truvia tabletop sweetener is designed to inform consumers that for the first time, there is a natural great tasting zero calorie sweetener that comes from a leaf, not a lab."
Cargill worked with Pentagram (New York) to develop a brand design and packaging that emphasizes the natural origin of the sweetener -- the stevia leaf. The graphic identity uses a color palette of green and white, elements of transparency and rounded shapes.
Smirnoff Basewrap Customized For Local Promos
Smirnoff recently featured this customized basewrap at the point-of-purchase to support several localized promotions.
This particular Basewrap was digitally printed in a small batch at a length of fifty feet and two feet high. These rolls were used in liquor stores and bodegas in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Other quantities and graphics were manufactured for the other boroughs.
The basewrap had a high quality look with no corrugate lines.

Yellow Tail Case Card Announces Sweepstakes
The Yellow Tail Case Card was placed in supermarkets and liquor stores to increase sales and brand awareness for the Yellow Tail wine brand during the football season. The display promotes a sweepstakes offering an “Ultimate ‘Yellow Tail’gate Experience.
Materials used to produce the case card included litho printed foil mounted to .055 finish chipboard, and red led lights with batteries.
Over 6,500 case cards were distributed to supermarkets and liquor stores nationwide.
Ryan Partnership, Wilton, CT was the promotion agency for the campaign. The display was created by Rapid Displays, Chicago, IL.
Wasp Displays Barcoding Solutions
Thanks to a compelling in-store point of purchase display, Canadian small business owners can learn about the benefits of barcoding in their local Staples.
Designed by a Canadian design firm, Peter McKee & Associates, these displays will be in prominent locations in the stores.
“We're constantly on the lookout for solutions that will help our customers run their businesses more efficiently,” said Alex Nigro, category manager for Staples Business Depot. “By adding Wasp barcoding products to our stores, we’ll be exposing customers to a new way they can drive productivity and send more profits to the bottom line.”
The Wasp barcoding display features four Wasp solutions: BarcodeMaker software, which creates barcodes for use in Microsoft Office documents; a Wasp CCD barcode scanner, which is used to read barcodes; and, two versions of the WaspNest suite.

Conagra Displays Stanley Cup Promotion
This tent card was designed to promote a collection contest for Conagra brands and the National Hockey League.
The giveaway is a full collection of lapel pins of Stanley Cup winners. The tent card was printed on a Heidelberg press in full color on card stock and then die cut to shape. The printing was done on both sides in different languages so that only one piece was sent out in kits to the stores and depending on location, they could choose the language to display.
This tent card is part of a program that includes standees, basewrap, sell sheets, header cards, floor signs and case cards. Once the consumer purchases the product, there is a special online code which they can enter on the Internet to register to have the gift with purchase mailed out.

Menasha Display Group will be showing this NIVEA Cares Tower Display which showcases Nivea skin care products and links the brand with an important cause as a sponsor of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's annual breast-cancer awareness program. The promotion was designed for Walmart and had to offer a significant variety of products and a substantial product count to meet consumer demand. It also required a relatively small footprint, a striking appearance and a solid brand message for the well-known brand. Proprint Services Inc. will be showing this Kraft Hockeyville 2009 Zamboni, a large functional display holding product in the front and the back. The display is four feet high x six feet wide with corrugated sheets mounted on them. The pieces were then die cut and glued and fitted together. The Hockeyville program is a yearly event that brings together the competitive spirit of the contest. The win includes bragging rights as well as many local rink upgrades. Barbie & The Diamond Castle 48ct Merchandiser. The Barbie display is prepacked and sent to the retailer with Barbie & The Diamond Castle DVD's, a full length, direct to video movie. The display uses graphics to tell the Diamond Castle story with large colorful imagery. The display is made with many different dimension and lug-ons. Created by OnDisplay Creative, 1015 N. Nintendo Mixed Mario Pallet. The objective was to create a pallet display that would showcase Nintendo's new Wii release, "Mario Super Sluggers" and also merchandise/advertise 3 other existing Mario games. It was important to develop a visually compelling merchandiser that followed both Nintendo and WalMart guidelines. Nancy's/Black Tie Appetizers and Desserts for Club (51). These units were designed to expand the penetration of the "Black Tie" brand to upscale customers who want to entertain with ease. The design creates a billboard impact with corrugated enclosures, printed in a classy beige, which frame the front of three packages to create a block of stunning black, red and beige that can be seen from nine feet away. Sweeney Todd Theatrical Standee. This display was designed to heighten consumer awareness and anticipation of the upcoming stylized movie musical. This theatrical standee was distributed to movie theatres internationally with title treatments designed and translated for eight languages. Instructions for assembly were included in each shipment. Kellogg/Keebler Townhouse Flipside Cracker/Pretzel Launch. This display took part in the bold new launch of Keebler Townhouse Flipsides Pretzel/Crackers. The unit had to communicate the unique two sided nature of the new pretzel/cracker product. The display was designed to build brand awareness of the new product extension of the strong Townhouse cracker brand. GSK Permanent Abreva WalMart Power Wing. This display was designed to clearly communicate the brand’s benefits. GSK wanted to utilize a display which was sturdy enough to last the entire cold & flu season and it had to be impactful yet cost effective. This unique power design hangs over the retailer wire rack, making the wire rack invisible, which causes the display to stand out among other power wings. Monster Cable Floor Display. The objective was to provide a floor display to promote high-end audio/video accessories. This display was designed to go exclusively in Best Buy Stores during the Holiday season. The entire project from design to shipping was completed in less than two business weeks. Nestle Maggi Cubes Three-Powerwing Floor Stand
Nestle wanted to build awareness and generate trials of new and existing flavors of its Maggi cubes as well as increase visibility in the growing number of specialty grocers that cater to Hispanic shoppers. By combining three gravity-feed powerwings on one floor stand, the sturdy display shops down neatly and allows retailers to move the powerwings to secondary placements in the seasoning aisle for additional sales. The Nestle Maggi Cubes Three Powerwing Floor Stand was created by Menasha Display Group, 601 E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134.
Smashbox International Pedestal
This display was designed to provide a versatile, space efficient unit to work within the footprint of both large and small independent stores and perfumeries in the international market. The multi-tiered display works as both a counter unit or on a stand. Both the header and injection molded product cubes are fully updateable. The unit provides full product access through a design which incorporates two shelves on drawer glides, a swivel mirror and back stock stored in the base. Briegestone Dangler Display
The goal of this campaign was to create a display that was visually appealing and unique, as well as production friendly. Although this piece was originally created as dangler, it could also be used as a floor display. The marketing objective was to promote the Bridgestone brand, with an emphasis on the Potenza and Turanza tires. Two versions - English/French will be in retail stores in the US and Canada for 3-6 months. Nintendo of America Animal Crossing Standee
This floor display was designed for Nintendo's new Wii game, "Animal Crossing City Folk", for mass retail locations. The display created an alternative sales position, as most gaming product is typically sold from cabinets. Speed to market and an economical design were key. The unit uses one color Flexo printing and die-cut corrugated trays, Litho mounted header, base and center graphic corrugated components. Colorful Basewrap Creates A Full Display
This high-quality basewrap is produced of mil smooth stock at l50 line screen to insure a sharp looking graphic reproduced well. This full color basewrap was produced at a length of 50' with an outer diameter of l.25" when finished. This inexpensive piece of print pulls together a full display and keeps the pallet/skid covered making placement within the store looking top notch. Corrugated Power Wing Display
This corrugated power wing is being used to merchandise Ninja Turtle Sunglasses. The display, produced by Alpak Display Group is made from 100% recyclable corrugated. The inks and varnish are all water-based, and are also 100% recyclable. The colorful display attracts attention and complements the Ninja Turtle Sunglasses.
