IDPal Label Maker Display Is Versatile
The Brady Company wanted to demonstrate the features/benefits of its new product, the IDPal Label Maker, which actually prints real labels.
This versatile display can be used as a floor display, counter unit or hanging display. The retailer can choose to use the demo unit, which actually prints real labels, and a brochure holder or display it without. The hook configuration is also versatile for displaying the unit, label refills or a combination of both.
The IDPal Label Maker display was produced by Great Lakes Packaging Corporation, a Germantown, WI-based p.o.p. display firm.
Ocean Spray Craisins Display Encourages Trial
Ocean Spray recently introduced two new flavors of Craisins Sweetened Dried Cranberries with this Gravity Feed Trial Display. The objective of this display program was to generate awareness and trial for the new Cherry and Orange-flavored Ocean Spray Craisins Sweetened Dried Cranberries in a manner more cost-effective than through live product sampling.
Placement of 10,000 trial displays was secured in 1/3 of U.S. retail grocery outlets. Each display held 240 1 oz. sample pouches, allowing for a potential delivery of 2,400,000 samples. Due to the small footprint of the display, Ocean Spray was able to secure placement in multiple locations within the grocery store and to break through the busy store environment with bright yellow graphics.

Eiffel Tower Floor Display
This display is a recognizable representation of France's Eiffel Tower and provides a unique and effective merchandising vehicle for a new line of European travel books. The display is shoppable from all four sides with book titles that are visible, with a full front cover exposure held by clear plastic strips which hold the books in trays. This display which won a Gold OMA in the Books, Newspapers and Magazines Category, was created by Oxford Innovations, Division of Tim-Bar Corporation, 201 South College Avenue, P.O. Box 189, New Oxford, PA 17350-0189.
Hershey Powerwing Introduces Reese’s Fast Break Bar
This powerwing display has helped Hershey Foods introduce Reese’s Fast Break Bar.
The Fast Break Powerwing was designed for display in a front-end wire-rack. By shipping the display with two wings per case this allowed the retailers the choice of hanging the displays together or separately in different areas of the store.
The powerwing was produced by Triangle Display Group, Philadelphia, PA.
Titleist ProV1 6 Dozen Gravity Feed Display. The purpose of this display was to trigger impulse purchases of a new product. 90% of golf balls are sold in the dozen box configuration. Consumers are more likely to try a new product in a 3-ball sample pack. This display achieved full placement at retail and positive increases in sales. Created by Triangle Display Group, 601 E. Triangle Display
QuickBooks 2002 Arrow Floor Display. This display showcases the entire product line-up on a single side of the display. The design offered an innovative look and feel that told the customer there was something dramatically new from QuickBooks. Retailers were enthusiastic in their buy-in and support of the display. Exterior Multi-Purpose Wal-Mart Pallet Display. This pallet display contains products from 3 different manufacturers merchandising exterior paint, various tapes and different applications, creating a one stop painting center. It is designed to fit on a standard pallet and can easily be moved with fork lifts and hand trucks. The display is pre-packed and set-up. Created by Great Northern Corporation - Display Group, 1800 South Street, Racine, WI 53404. SILVER AWARD.
Dragon Tales Brush/Aquafresh Paste FS/PW Display. This offers an inviting presence in the oral care aisles of various retail environments. The use of a light thief shadow box design on the riser was an innovative way to showcase both the brush and paste products, creating more interest in telling “the story”. Created by Packaging Specialists, Inc., 1728 Rt. 30 West, Clinton, PA 15026. SILVER AWARD.
Javelin Powerwing for Wal-Mart. This display was designed to introduce the metal barrel Javelin pen as part of a “For Dads for Grads” campaign. The Javelin was successful and well received at retail. Designed for a graduation promotion, the display was developed, assembled, and packed in a tight time frame. Created by Triangle Display Group, 601 E. Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134. Starbuck’s DoubleShot Stacker Display
This display was designed for Pepsi-Cola to drive the trial of a new product launch, primarily in C-stores on the West Coast and Florida. The unique design showcases seven cases of the DoubleShot Espresso & Cream Beverage surrounded by brilliant 5/color litho graphics mounted on C-flute corrugated board with visual emphasis on the highly recognizable Starbuck's logo. Nestle Free Standing Pop-Up Display
Nesquick brands wanted special off-shelf attention for its product, in conjunction with retailer advertising. The display is simply removed from its shipper and “Pops-Up” completely assembled. It has a capacity to hold over 200 lbs. of merchandise. Trays are loaded, pre-packed, onto the assembled displays. The display helped to achieve record sales and spurred a reorder of displays to keep the momentum up. The display has been so effective it is now being used for other Nestle Brands. LaBatt USA Cinco De Mayo Large Cantina Display
This display was designed to raise awareness of beer branding tied to a holiday event. Full sized in-store P.O.P. was used in stores which house the product. The client reported increased sales of the product due to the eye-catching creative P.O.P. The Cinco De Mayo P.O.P. was created by Proprint Services Inc., 5621 Finch Avenue E #5, Toronto, Ont. M1B 2T9.
