Warner Home Video Displays “Kangaroo Jack”

Warner Home Video (WHV) is releasing the $66 million box office hit Kangaroo Jack on DVD and VHS. Mike Saksa, WHV Sr. V.P., U.S. Marketing said, “With DVD special features that will provide kids with hours of laughter, Kangaroo Jack is a must-have family video.”

Promotional support includes a sweepstakes with a grand prize of a family trip to Australia. In addition, consumers who buy Kangaroo Jack will receive a free DVD from a select list when they purchase an additional DVD from the same list Warner Home Video’s extensive media campaign will target parents, young teens and children with broadcast and print ads.

Kangaroo Jack p.o.p. merchandisers will be available in a wide assortment of DVD, VHS and mixed format configurations.



Red Stripe Features In-Store Beer Hut

This Red Stripe Beer display replicates the appearance of a Caribbean corrugated tin roof shack. The display, created with distortion printing, helps to convey a tropical look and feel for the Jamaican Lager.

This display uses 80-pound enamel litho-printed four-color process, mounted to B-flute corrugated. “Single Face” corrugated distortion is printed prior to corrugation.

The display features a compact footprint. It is very easily shopped form both sides. Its high-profile Red Stripe banner across the roof is easily spotted by consumers.

This display was created for Diageo by Rapid Display, a Chicago, IL-headquartered display firm.


Jansport Displays Eastpak Backpacks

This temporary floor display was designed to promote EastPak backpacks. The merchandiser had to be impacful and stand alone as an outpost display. In sporting goods channels, it had to take the product off of the wall and into the “racetrack” where customers could easily locate and purchase backpacks.

The display is constructed of direct flexographic “B” flute corrugate, “C” flute corrugate structure, 24 pt. SBS litho printed price point tags, and 1/8 wall black litho wrapped fiber poles.

This display was created for Jansport by Great Northern Corporation, Racine, WI.



Nintendo Promotes “Eternal Darkness” Game

This display dramatically calls attention to the new game “Eternal Darkness,” for the Nintendo Gamecube.

The display was designed to be viewed from all sides and to attract a young consumer. In addition to calling attention to the product and its retail release, the display provides extensive information about the game.

The display was designed for Nintendo by The Corporate Image, based in Seattle, WA.

It was produced by Kell Specialty Products, a point-of-purchase display firm based in Chippewa Falls, WI.


Rayovac & Nickelodeon Run Joint Promotion

Rayovac is partnering with Nickelodeon Online on the “Power Getaway” Instant Win Sweepstakes. Kids have the opportunity to win one of three family vacations to Universal Orlando Resort, the home of Nickelodeon Studios, as well as more than 1,000 other prizes, including Nick.com gift certificates and Rayovac sports bags.

The promotion is featured on specially marked packages of Rayovac Maximum Plus Alkaline Batteries. Special merchandising displays will deliver the Power Getaway Sweepstakes product.

“The partnership with Nickelodeon is an ideal vehicle for reaching primary purchasers,” said Stephanie Udell, Rayovac Brand Manager. “

Tylenol Floor Display

This display was designed to create a cost effective, yet visually unusual display to attract customers and allow easy access to the product on all 4 sides. The display holds a large quantity of product, is easily refillable and sits on a small footprint. The display is screen printed 4 color plus clear UV on E-flute corrugated, shipped flat for easy assembly at retail destinations. Reports have shown as much as 250% increase in sales at some locations. The Tylenol Floor Display won a Gold OMA in the Health Care Category as well as Display Of The Year - Temporary. It was created by Artisan Complete, 100 Bentley Street, Markham, Ontario, Canada L3R 3L2.



Kraft Foods Back To School Bus

The display is comprised of over 57 various components which are transformed into a working display consisting of only 10 components for the retailer to handle at time of set-up. The center section of the display is modular and with the addition of a sales kit, the School Bus can be elongated to add additional hutches. The unit promoted multiple brands and the end result proved to be a fun, some what whimsical, school bus easily identifiable with both Kraft/Nabisco products and the theme of back-to-school. The display which won the Gold OMA in the snack Products and Soft Drinks Category, was created by Smurfit-Stone Display Group, 2900 Sprouse Drive, Richmond, VA 23231.


Energizer Rechargeable Floor Display

This display was created to promote a particular line of product. It can easily be moved to store-front or a related location where batteries are required and is shoppable from two sides. The attractive design and graphics easily captures the consumers' attention. The display is screen printed 4 color + clear UV on B-Flute & E-Flute Corrugated, with wheels attached at the 4 corners. The display is shipped assembled and pre-packed with product. This display which won a Gold OMA in the Toys and Accessories Category, was created by Artisan Complete, 100 Bentley Street, Markham, Ontario, Canada L3R 3L2.



Rogers/AT&T V101 Floor Display. This display creates in-store awareness of a newly launched product. It was timed to appear at stores when the media promotion broke. Both electronic stores and independent cell phone stores located these displays at their store fronts to entice customers to enter and ask questions on this new product. Kumho Tire Display. This floorstand was created for retail tire stores and it allows different tires within the line to be merchandised on the same display. Multiple headers were created to fit a variety of tires to make the unit very flexible. Created by Meridian Display & Merchandising, 162 York Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55117. BRONZE AWARD.



Luminere 24 pc. Counter Display. The display is designed specifically for Luxury Linens, to work within their shelving guidelines. It is shipped as a fully assembled near pack. The retailer simply removes the display from the package, places the pre-installed header in the upright position, and loads the product on the steps. Created by Triangle Display Group, Div. Jolly Rancher Active Counter Display. This eye-catching unit sets this product apart from others in the some category at retail. When product is removed a wobbling motion is created which attracts the consumer's attention. The display is small enough to be located on a shelf or at the cash counter. Ice Age Standee. This corrugated Standee features bright colors, which helped capture the prime real estate in over 90% of its market. The Standee was designed to give dimension and color in a limited floor space. The Logo was designed in 3 dimension using clear vinyl. Big Idea Penguins 4. An eye-catching realistic lighthouse is featured in this display. There is a random flashing LED board to recreate the lighthouse. The unit also feature intricate die cutting and multi-layered character lug-ons to create a dynamic display that brings the video's story to life. Nestle Island Display. This display is designed to hold in excess of 500 pounds as well as 500 packages of product. It is shoppable from all 4 sides. It is easily set up and ready for stocking in less than 10 minutes. The graphics are complementary to the Nestle product line. Mary-Kate & Ashley Color Boutique Endcap for Wal-Mart. This unit was developed specifically as an endcap for Wal-Mart. The addition of the easel on the back of the display allowed for additional in-aisle placement. The unit arrives at retail assembled. Bud Light Corral Display

This corrugated display has a foot print of 66" x 40" x 56" and is constructed of 80# litho mounted to 1 cp printed and flood coated b flute corrugate, and die cut. There is a 3 foot fence around the stacked product which surrounds the bull and the rider. The Bud Light 12-packs are stocked four cases high so that all that remains seen is the bull's hind legs and the cowboy on top. The display provides an impressive sight attracting the attention of passing consumers. The Bud Light Corral Display was created by Rapid Displays, 4300 W. 47th Street, Chicago, IL 60632.



Makers Mark Decorated Fireplace

This Fireplace Display was decorated for the Holiday Season and was fully labeled with film lamination over the entire surface. The mantle piece was 3-dimensional and was offset from the display. The unit helped increase sell-through of product during the Holiday Season and also provided Makers Mark with premium floor space at retail locations. Reports indicated substantial sales increase where the displays were placed. Allied Domecq will be running three spring promotions focused on fishing, golf and outdoor grilling. The Makers Mark Decorated Fireplace was created by Archbold Container Corporation, 800 West Barre Road, Archbold, Ohio 43502.



Stacker Display For Starbuck's DoubleShot

Pepsi-Cola required a display to drive the trial of a new product launch primarily in C-stores on the West Coast and Florida. This display features a unique design which showcases seven cases of the DoubleShot Espresso & Cream Beverage, surrounded by brilliant 4-color litho graphics mounted on C-flute corrugated board. The display offers visual emphasis on the highly recognizable Starbuck's logo. Response to the display has been very positive. Created by Triangle Display Group, Div.
