Outwater Plastics Industries Inc., offers its Galaxy Fiber Optic System which can put a sign or message into glistening and glowing lights. The system consists of a series of 160 1.0mm 4' or 12' long acrylic optic fibers mounted in a harness attached to a 35 watt, 12 volt halogen light source. By inserting and varying the length that the individual optic fibers extend from the available thick gloss black drop ceiling, or highly reflective acrylic panels, it alters the width, brightness and intensity of the “star points”. DigitalTech Displays, Monterey, CA, has introduced the “POPBox,” a video player for displaying digital video movie clips (MPEG1 or MPEG2) still images and MP3 audio at the point-of-purchase. The POPbox is just 1.6” (H) x 6.8” (D) x 6.3” (W) for easy concealment in p.o.p. displays. It can be connected to any TV, CRT, LCD or Plasma display. It is easily programmed without any application software. Art-Phyl Creations has introduced its new clear plastic cap displayer for slatwall, to its growing line of cap and hat displays. Midway Displays has expanded its “Stock Base” line to accommodate nearly any display base application. It has introduced an 18” Octagon Base which provides a unique look to displays. Optikinetics has introduced the GoBoTop, a low-cost, low-voltage gobo projection system. The GoBoTop simply attaches to MR16 exposed lamp fittings commonly found in retail lighting environments and instantly turns them into compact, unobtrusive projectors. The CERTO kiosk includes a 15" LCD TFT touch screen and includes a document printer and sound system.
