In-Store Signage & Displays Promote Whole Grains Month
The Whole Grains Council recently provided supermarkets with Whole Grains Store Tour kits to help them promote Whole Grains Month.
The kits included everything needed to plan and carry out a successful Whole Grains Store Tour event, including in-store signage that supermarkets could customize, print, and post in their store and ideas for in-store sampling of whole grains.
The supermarket tour was developed to open customers’ eyes to the health benefits of whole grains, while making them aware of the many whole grain choices available in almost every aisle.
Coke Display Launches New 2 Liter Bottle
Coca Cola offered this motion standee to introduce its new 2L Coca-Cola contoured bottle. The oversized bottle and hand show the new bottle shape and its ease of use. It brings attention and excitement with its back and forth motion. The Coke 2 Liter Motion Spectacular was created by Ellie Inc., an O’Fallon, MO-based promotion agency.
Lipton Tea To Go Featured In Power Wing Display
BJ's is using this 32 ct. Lipton Tea To Go one-piece power wing display which replaced a five piece conventional display. This unit has less square footage as compared to the conventional display.
The display’s one-piece construction helped to reduce transportation costs. E flute was used to replace B flute and coupled with the display’s reduced square footage, greatly reducing the weight of the display.
This was the first Power Wing Display in BJ’s and it sold a significant amount of Tea To Go. This power wing display was created for Unilever by McLean Packaging Corp., a Pennsauken, NJ-based point-of-purchase display firm.
Red Truck Wines Offers Three Case Display
This versatile three case display extends the Red Truck brand with its colorful truck, to the retail floor. The use of corrugate and flooding the design of the Sonoma blue sky promoted the striking look and feel, while providing a low cost display.
The display is designed with removable shelves so the display could fit in small footprints where larger displays could not be used. The case cards were interchangeable, with headlights lit, with blinking LED lights for impact. The unit is printed 4 colors with an overall UV finish.

Labatt Features Alexander Keith’s Pub Sign
Labatt is providing on-premise locations with this Alexander Keith's Double Sided Pub Sign.
Labatt wanted to replicate a real slatted wooden sign so that the brand image could be seen from both sides. This sign is made from birch plywood and is routed both front and back to replicate slats. The sign requires about 2' of horizontal wall space and juts out to proudly showcase the four color process Alexander Keith’s logo.
This design also has an additional sign that hangs on the bottom and states “Proud Purveyer” which adds dimensional interest to the sign. This display was created for Labatt by Heritage Sign & Display, a Nesquehoning, PA-based p.o.p. display firm.

Procter & Gamble has unveiled its latest Febreze Fabric Refresher innovation, featuring a unique fine mist spray that surrounds a home in freshness while eliminating odors in the air and on fabrics.
The launch of new Febreze Fabric Refresher will be the largest marketing initiative for Febreze in its current fiscal year, and comes on the heels of the brand’s 10th anniversary.
Marketing support includes television advertising, a robust print campaign, in-store display support, coupon offers, and an online media campaign complete with sweepstakes. The pallet has over 70 skus including calendars, gift wrap, DVD’s cookie cutters and books. The pallet organizes a wide range of different Christmas products into one convenient location for consumers. The pallet display’s green and white graphics complement the Christmas-themed merchandise. DVDPlay Rental Kiosk To Offer Blu-ray Discs
DVDPlay, a DVD rental kiosk operator and developer, has added the Blu-ray disc format to its standard DVD selection. “DVDPlay is thrilled to be the first in the kiosk space to offer Blu-ray discs,” said Chuck Berger, CEO of DVDPlay.

The promotion featured a wide variety of in-store and out-of-store elements, including collectible Slurpee® and Big Gulp® cups, Madden Meals featuring Frito Lay potato chips, a free online Madden Fantasy Roster Builder based on Madden NFL 09 player ratings, and Madden NFL 09 branded signage throughout the store.
EA partnered with several other big names as part of the promotion at 7-Eleven. Together with Warner Brothers Home Video, EA made a playable pre-release demo of Madden NFL 09 available on a retail DVD. Pepsi joined in support of the new Pepsi Lemon NFL Kick-off colas.

7-Eleven recently partnered with Activision to promote Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. 7-Eleven, Inc. gave away Guitar Hero videogames, Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles, plus 711,000 Microsoft Points to purchase merchandise from Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
7-Eleven is taking its new Slurpee Nation-mobile on the road at the Warped 2008 tour, serving samples of the new Monster Black Ice Slurpee drink, the first Monster Energy drink in frozen form, available in 7-Eleven stores.

This roll-about floor display was designed specifically for Food Lion to cross merchandise in various sections in the store. The display merchandised smaller bags of nuts and large bags in bins. The mobile display was an effective and successful tool for providing a second location, greater visibility and stimulating sales by cross merchandising. McKenzie Country Classics Chalkboard
McKenzie Country Classics, “Vermont’s Original Purvery of Specialty Meats,” is using this triple chalkboard to enhance its image at supermarket deli departments. This large end aisle was created for Kraft's Fall promotion. This promotion featured Fall full color litho printed graphics which jump out at the consumer from all sides showing seasonal activities. A variety of headers were used depending on the promotion and the store size. All pieces were printed mounted and packed for distribution in a quick and easy manner. The end aisle was part of an overall store display that included basewrap, posters, tear sheets and case cards. The unit takes no time to set up in the store and allows lots of product to be displayed. Johnson & Johnson Zyrtec Tower
Johnson & Johnson wanted a display to serve as a permanent home for the entire Zyrtec line in the food trade. This display holds a large amount of Zyrtec product in a limited footprint of only 2.5 feet x 2 feet. The unit is mobile with casters, with a dramatic 3-dimensional pre-print vacuum-formed Zyrtec logo. The side panels feature lifestyle graphics from the television campaign. The unit ships pre-packed and is easy to put together. Because many injection molded parts were used, most of the display snaps together for easy assembly. Whole Foods used this inflatable to attract attention and convey its image as a source for wholesome, nutritious foods. This giant inflatable can be placed on rooftops, pavements, sidewalks or grass and is inflated with a cold air fan unit. The Clorox Disinfecting Wipes Retail Dispenser Stand is a branded, customized, dispenser that allows consumers to disinfect their shopping carts as they enter the store. WalMart and Hasbro collaborated on a pick system to tell consumers about Hasbro's new big boxed product for three new oversized pets: Biscuit the Dog, S'Mores the Pony and Kota the Dino. WalMart wanted to showcase the large interactive animals for Hasbro's FurReal and Playskool divisions. The pick ticket system allowed consumers to have the big boxed products delivered directly to their shopping cart upon store checkout. The Interactive video monitor plays messages pertaining to each of the three products. A motion sensored sound box delivers character sounds to consumers as they pass by.
