Viatera Displays New Tile Designs

This display was created to introduce new tile designs and colors and draw the attention of consumers to the product.

The distinctive display holds 24 full size tile samples, 12 on each side, and is constructed from wire, metal and wood. The side panel signs and 4-sided header signs are interchangeable.

The metal parts have a silver powder finish. The display helped obtain new distribution and brought greater attention to the brand.

The Viatera Display was created by Nashville Display, a Lebanon, TN-based point-of-purchase display firm.



Carlon Lamson Displays Wired Chimes

Carlon Lamson & Sessions featured this Wired Chime Kits Display to highlight the range of chimes available for residential use.

The display was required to be interactive to demonstrate multiple sound options. Chimes and buttons needed to be shown in multiple residential environments to give consumers a feel of different settings. The display was required to be easily updateable with new chimes and buttons.

The plastic display is durable for years of use. The large-scale logo creates strong brand building while the easy to read features educate consumers of their available choices. The Wired Chime Kits Display was created by Downing Retail, Copley, OH.



Ownership of 'Green' Homes Expected To Increase Rapidly, According McGraw-Hill

McGraw-Hill Construction’s Green Homeowner SmartMarket Report, forecasts that the market for green homes is expected to rise from $2 billion to up to $20 billion over the next five years. Standard homes are becoming increasingly green, with homeowners using green products for 40% of their remodeling work.

Green homeowners are happy with their homes and are recommending them at rates significantly higher than recommendation levels of other industries. Homeowners are buying green homes because they are concerned about the health of their families, as well as to reduce energy and home operating costs. Education and awareness of green ranks as the most important obstacles, slightly higher than the additional first costs associated with building green.



Dawn Simple Pleasures Cleans & Freshens Air

Procter & Gamble has launched Dawn Simple Pleasures, the first dish care product to combine with an air freshener in one dual-compartment bottle.

This allows consumers to have both the cleaning power of Dawn and a means to keep their kitchens smelling fresh in one convenient unit.



Duracell Introduces Portable Power Products

Duracell is introducing 11 products for consumers who want power on-the-go. The new product lines range from small DC to AC pocket inverters to heavy-duty portable emergency power units. The product introductions fall into three categories - power packs, inverters, and automotive chargers.

“Duracell continues to offer innovative power solutions that extend beyond our core CopperTop battery business,” said Dan McCarthy, Director, Global Marketing, Duracell.

Halo Ultraviolet Vacuum Kills Germs

The Halo UV-ST is a new chemical-free vacuum that combines powerful pick-up and ultraviolet technology to clean dirt and kill germs that lurk in carpets.

Ultraviolet light disables the DNA of household pests, such as dust mites, destroying their ability to multiply. Activating the ultraviolet technology while running the vacuum, instantly kills germs living between carpet fibers.



Whirlpool Offers CEIVA Digital Photo Frame

Whirlpool’s centralpark connection with the CEIVA Digital Photo Frame, provides a place for consumers to display thousands of pictures without a single magnet.

“With the CEIVA Digital Photo Frame, consumers can have fresh pictures and food each day, while keeping the refrigerator door free of clutter,” said Mark Hamilton, Director, Centralpark System New Business Development.



Visitors to the House of Innoventions exhibit located at Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort will discover ground-breaking products from Kohler. David Kohler, EVP, Kohler, said, “Visitors to this exhibit will experience how technology has been integrated into ordinary bathroom products.” Katie Roser, Set Decorator, Walt Disney Imagineering, said, “Kohler’s bath products allow anyone to incorporate a spa atmosphere into their bathroom. Our goal is to inspire our guests to try this in their homes.”
