Michele Buck has been named Sr. VP, Chief Growth Officer for The Hershey Co. Buck, who joined Hershey in 2005, was previously Sr. VP, Global Chief Marketing Officer. In this new role, Buck will have responsibility for Hersheys Strategy and Vision, Innovation, Research and Development, and The Hershey Experience.


Michael Linton has been named Enterprise Chief Marketing Officer for Farmers Insurance, the 3rd largest personal lines insurance group in the U.S. Linton, who most recently was Exec. VP, Marketing for Silicon Valley start-up, FreeMonee Network, has spent 30 years in marketing for such companies as eBay, Best Buy, Progressive Insurance, and Procter & Gamble.


Nissan has named Fred Deperez Director, Chief Marketing Manager. Deperez will be responsible for leading lifecycle product marketing efforts supporting Nissan's Versa, Sentra, cube, JUKE and Quest models. Deperez joins Nissan from Chrysler LLC where, most recently, he has led marketing for the company's Dodge brand.


Smashburger, the nation’s fastest growing “better burger” concept, has promoted Jeremy Morgan to Senior Vice President, Marketing and Consumer Insights. Morgan previously served as Vice President, Strategy.


One Source Industries, a leading provider of global supply chain management solutions for point-of-purchase displays, product packaging and promotional programs, has moved its corporate headquarters to a new location in Irvine, California. “With sales up more than 25% so far this year, we simply outgrew our former space. The new location also features an attractive display area where we can showcase our capabilities and new technology innovations,” said Joe Baksha, President & CEO of One Source Industries.


U.S. Corrugated has entered into an agreement with KapStone Paper & Packaging through which KapStone will own and operate fourteen of USC’s twenty converting facilities, as well as its recycled containerboard mill in Cowpens, SC. The facilities involved will operate under the KapStone name, and USC will continue to operate the facilities it is retaining under the USC name. Along with its affiliate Mannkraft Corporation, the USC system will continue to be a market leader in the Northeast and Mid- Central United States. KapStone will continue to be a major supplier of containerboard to USC and Mannkraft.


Wireless Ronin Technologies, a Minneapolis-based digital signage and marketing technologies solutions provider, has appointed Jane Johnson as Sr. VP, Sales & Marketing. “Jane's professional background and skills fit perfectly with Wireless Ronin's transition to a marketing technologies company,” said President & CEO, Scott Koller of Wireless Ronin. Prior to joining Wireless Ronin, Jane Johnson spent 16 years at FICO (formerly Fair Isaac Corporation). Prior to that Johnson held management positions at Carlson Marketing Group.


Taphandles LLC, a global leader of beer branding products, has opened a new factory in Woodinville, WA. The new factory will produce beer specific marketing items to extend its established success making unique tap handles. “Taphandles is both proud and excited to be accelerating our growth here in the U.S.,” said Paul Fichter, Founder and President of Taphandles, LLC. “Our Woodinville facility is a direct response to brewery requests for faster lead times.”


Fixture Resource Group, a provider of custom fixtures and displays, has named Steve Champagne as the Director of Business Development. Champagne brings extensive sales success in the areas of custom fixtures as well as permanent POP displays, and will also head up the company’s expansion with a Dallas, TX sales office.
