Pantene Rolls Out ‘Love Your Hair’ Truck Tour
Pantene, Procter & Gamble’s leading hair care brand, has launched a broad sampling effort designed to support its new “Love Your Hair” campaign. Created to distribute 135 million product samples across the country, the program is the largest sampling initiative of a beauty brand.
The brand will distribute samples via a four-pronged effort that includes a newspaper drop, the Pantene National Truck Tour, a teen and college student outreach effort and in-store demonstrations. During the six-month tour, five semi-trucks will distribute 60 million product samples.
Volkswagen Launches Mobile Theatre Tour
Volkswagen has launched a Mobile Movie Theatre marketing initiative targeting college students. Students will have the opportunity to view a movie with food and soft drinks as well as receive Volkswagen-branded merchandise.
“We see this program as an opportunity to connect to a very important consumer and reintroduce them to the Volkswagen brand,” said Heidi Korte, Manager Volkswagen Promotions.
Volkswagen partners, Trek and K2, will also be on-site to enhance the mini-festival atmosphere. Trek’s mobile cycling unit, with 20 bikes, will offer demo rides, and K2 will be on location with its demo van featuring K2 skis and snowboards.
