HSBC Bank has launched its HSBC Drive Free Challenge promotion tied into its sponsorship of the Women’s World Match Play Golf Tournament at the Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. Golfers have the chance to win a mint-condition 1966 VW Microbus at Paragon Sports in the month-long promotion, which is the creation of HSBC agency Renegade Marketing Group, NYC.
“The marketing campaign will employ in-branch displays, street teams, and the HSBC Bank Cab fleet to generate buzz, drive people to the HSBC website and to their promotional partner Paragon Sports to take a free swing for the VW Minibus on the HSBC golf simulator,” said Drew Neisser, CEO, Renegade Marketing.
Sallie Mae Fund Runs Latino Bus Tour
The Sallie Mae Fund’s “Paying For College Bus Tour,” is traveling to 78 cities nationwide to educate Latinos about options for paying for higher education.
The Sallie Mae Fund discovered that there was a lack of access to financial aid information among Latinos. “The Sallie Mae Fund wants to help reverse this situation by raising awareness among the Latino community that a college education is attainable,” said Kathleen deLaski, President of The Sallie Mae Fund.

Southern Comfort is joining with New Orleans' rock band Cowboy Mouth and its tour bus for a joint promotion. Southern Comfort has commissioned a New Orleans-influenced piece of art from artist Matt Rinard that now appears as the 2005 wrap for the band's well-traveled bus.

"Inuyasha The Movie 3 " Mobile Tour
"Inuyasha The Movie 3" is being given a highly visible send off to retail with an innovative big screen 15-city mobile theater tour, created by Revolution Marketing in a joint effort with VIZ Media. Revolution Marketing has developed a 92-seat, state of the art, mobile movie theater that will travel to one Wal-Mart in each of l5 cities. Wal-Mart will host the theatrical premier of a DVD title they will be selling. More than 4,000 lucky fans will have the opportunity to screen the animated movie for free in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta and Seattle. Bosch Big Blue Tour
The Bosch Big Blue program was designed to gain product exposure with various consumer demos by bringing demonstrations of Bosch tools to industrial accounts, trade shows and special events. Five "workshops on wheels" provided target audiences with the opportunity to try and use Bosch tools and interface with brand representatives. Interactive stations featured the tools and accessories in their natural environment. Consumers could demo tools prior to purchase inside the retailer. 156,250 consumers visited the program with 48,885 engaging a tool prior to entering the store in 2004. "PFAFF Creative Experience"
MRA (Mobility Resource Associates) offers the Single-X Exhibit Trailer - a 70-foot mobile marketing extravaganza which is a 53 foot single expandable semi trailer, showcasing PFAFF's sewing machines in an interactive demonstration environment. The goal of this exhibit is to spread the joy of sewing and offer PFAFF's dealers a unique selling opportunity. MilkBone "Make Your Dog Famous Search"
This event, managed by Pierce Promotions, featured two branded Aerocell Techvans with Milk-Bone product Displays which were towed to 175 event venues. The trailers opened up to reveal 360o activity centers, created to provide pet parents the chance to interact with their dogs, have some fun and win great prizes. At the feature activity areas, on-site photographers shot contest photos of visiting dogs, which could be retrieved and used for online entry from home. The Milk-Bone "Make Your Dog Famous Search" traveled to fairs, festivals, dog agility trials and retail stores across the U.S. to find the next generation of dogs to grace Milk-Bone's Original biscuits boxes. Budweiser True Music Double-Deck Trailer
Anheuser-Busch built its newest branding vehicle which would maintain the "wow" factor" for Bud World and provide consumer experience and b-to-b hospitality events. This double-deck trailer has 7 plasma screens, eight LCD monitors, 6 touch-screen kiosks, l7 computers, 26 speakers and 45 headphones. Visitors gain access by registering at All-Access kiosks that print personalized backstage photo passes. Above the rig is a stadium-sized large-format Barco Wall monitor broadcasting videos streamed from cameras throughout the truck. Advair Giant Inflatable "Puffer"
Advair, a drug treatment for Asthma, commissioned this giant inflatable to showcase its unique designed product, to reach the Nascar crowd as part of its mobile marketing campaign. The promotion also provided an indispensable tool in the education of an affliction that effects nearly 14 million people in the U.S. The giant inflatable for the mobile marketing campaign was created by Dynamic Displays, 5450 West Jefferson Avenue, Detroit, MI 48209.
Crest Launches Crest Imagine Tour
Procter & Gamble has launched the Crest Imagine Tour featuring an 18-wheeler transformed into a giant tube of Crest Whitening Plus Scope toothpaste. The mobile tour is visiting high profile events, food & music festivals, vacation destinations, hot spots and major cities--places where consumers find themselves in need of fresh breath. The mobile vehicle features eight tooth brushing stations, each of which offers one of three flavors of Crest Whitening Plus Scope, including the newly-introduced citrus. Each station delivers a multi-sensory brushing experience with an intelligent lighting system, surround sound and electric misters which pulse out scents relating to the flavor offered at that station. The mobile tour vehicle also includes computer stations where visitors can enter the Crest “Vacation Like a Celebrity” sweepstakes. Coors Light Airstream Mobile Tour
Coors has launched a mobile marketing tour for Coors Light using an Airstream SkyDeck vehicle, which will travel to sporting events, concerts, outdoor venues, corporate events and trade shows. Airstream Mobile Business Solutions, Jackson, OH, created a corporate command center for Coors Light fully outfitted with private meeting rooms, VIP hospitality suite, and merchandising product display to attend events nationwide. The AirStream SkyDeck features the latest technology including satellite (radio, TV, Internet and phone) and multi-user wireless web service. The Airstream Sky Deck features a roof-top-patio with cushioned seating, tables, sun umbrellas and an exterior flush-mounted, flat screen TV.
