Timex And Yahoo! Launch Internet Messenger Watch
Timex’s new Internet Messenger watch is arriving in stores, in conjunction with an agreement with Yahoo!, making web-to-wrist connectivity a reality. Timex is the first to market a watch that allows the user to receive Internet e-mail, news, weather, sports scores, and stock quotes.
“The Timex Internet Messenger delivers useful innovations and features that makes everyday life a little easier,” said Jan Mladek, V.P., Marketing for the product.
Delta Introduces e-Flow
Delta Faucet has introduced the e-Flow hands-free faucet, which combines hands-free electronic faucet technology with a color coordinated bathroom. Consumers can set the water temperature with an easily accessible control knob and simply place their hands under the faucet to begin water flow. Available in six popular hues, the control knob can be interchanged to match colors in the bathroom.
GE Reveal Is GE’s Largest Light Bulb Launch
GE Lighting is launching the Reveal light bulb which provides crisper, cleaner lighting to make objects appear richer in color and more vivid.
The quality of the Reveal light is achieved by adding the natural earth element, Neodymium, to the glass.
An multi-million dollar integrated marketing campaign will support the launch.
New Colgate Orabase Soothe-N-Seal Introduced
New Colgate Orabase Soothe-N-Seal canker and mouth sore treatment is clinically proven to stop mouth pain immediately upon application. It seals off the nerve endings and creates a protective barrier over the affected area allowing sufferers to eat and drink normally without experiencing further irritation. “We are hoping to revolutionize the oral pain relief category with this introduction,” said Nick Vinke, President, Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals.
Kendall-Jackson Debuts Wines From Italy
Kendall-Jackson has introduced the first Kendall-Jackson wines from Italy. They will appear under the Villa Arceno label in four offerings: Merlot, Syrah, Chianti Classico Riserva and Arguzzio. Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates bought Villa Arceno in 1994.
BIC Debuts Pocket Pen
BIC has launched the BIC Cristal Pocket, the tiniest edition to the Cristal pen family. The miniature edition is only 4.5 inches long. In a world of rapidly “shrinking” personal tools, it was a natural step to launch a mini version of Cristal, said Janel Olsen, Product Manager.
“Cell phones, laptops and PDAs are examples of products designed to take anywhere. Now, the Cristal Pocket makes the BIC Cristal pen even more mobile.”
M&M’s Dulce de Leche Target Latinos
In response to the dynamic growth of the U.S.-Latino market, M&M/MARS has introduced M&M’s Dulce de Leche-Caramel Chocolate Candies. M&M/MARS will be the first major confectionery manufacturer to introduce the dulce de leche flavor, inspired by the staple Latino dessert.

Revlon Absolutely Fabulous LipCream has been introduced offering a full-bodied formula that gives even application and long wear. It also contains a broad-spectrum SPF-15 and a Pomegranate anti-oxidant.
Raison Pure International, New York City, designed the packaging to be glamorous and functional. The package’s clear plastic base allows the consumer to see the color of the lipstick without taking off the cap, so it remains untouched in its display.
Ardbeg Whisky Debuts
Brown-Forman has introduced Ardbeg 17 Year Old, a fine malt with a hint of bourbon and a faint hint of tangy orange. Ardbeg is now available in four expressions: 10 Year Old, 17 Year Old, 1978 Vintage and Provenance.

Crest Launches SpinBrush
Crest has introduced an expanded Crest SpinBrush line of battery-operated tooth brushes. “The Crest SpinBrush makes electric toothbrush technology affordable for every family,” said Diane Dietz, Marketing Director, Crest. “The SpinBrush cleans significantly better than an ordinary manual toothbrush for about the same price.” The Crest SpinBrush is available at a suggested retail price of $5.99.
HP Digital Entertainment Center Debuts
Hewlett-Packard is expanding its digital entertainment initiative into the living room, offering consumers new ways to enjoy digital music, video and Internet information. The initiative’s first living room component, the HP Digital Entertainment Center, is a stand-alone product that allows enthusiasts to discover new music on the Internet and enjoy their complete music collections without the need of a PC.
