Kobrand Corp.’s European division, Alize International, required a 20' inline display for the IAADES Duty Free Show with a short three-week turnaround from inception to install. i.e. etc. inc. recently completed a new $1.55 million, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located at Airpark Ohio in Springfield. The facility combines 45,000 sq. ft. of office, manufacturing and warehouse space with a 2,000 sq. ft. showroom and a 1,200 sq. ft. graphics department. Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, the visual communications company specializes in the design and production of trade show exhibits, displays, kiosks and graphics. Magnet LLC wanted to tie into its affiliate company “Phonecard Express” across the trade show exhibit aisle. Two 20' x 20' islands were created. The large, black oval headers were produced by the Moss Fabric Co. while the leg supports were produced by the Nimlok Co. The large oval workstations were custom fabricated by Pingel Displays, St. Louis, MO, while the smaller round display kiosks were produced by Nimlok.
Expo Displays, Birmingham, AL, created this 20' x 20' Expomodular exhibit system for BioHorizons. The exhibit features a central “bowtie” tower with two levels of gradual curves and a third tower level with straight wall dimensional towers. The tower has flatwall sections for a 40" plasma screen on either side.
Exhibit Enterprises Inc. has produced a 28,000-sq. ft. exhibit for DaimlerChrysler to present the new Dodge cars at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. The exhibit features massive circular berms that spiral in height from 3' to more than 8'. The berms create an inclining walkway and allow Dodge to showcase its cars, trucks, minivans and performance vehicles. At the center of the display is the well-known symbol of the Dodge brand, a massive 25' H by 26' W Dodge Ram's head challenging show-goers to “Grab Life By The Horns.” The Arnell Group, a New York design firm established the design concept; Design Forum of Columbus, OH, further developed the design theme; and EEI, a Dearborn, MI-based exhibit design and construction firm, completed the final design and engineering.
Transformit, Gorham, ME, a tension-fabric structure design, manufacturing and rental company, has opened a 200 square meter facility in Braunschweigh, Germany. The facility will be used to store and ship rental properties for Transformit’s European exhibit. It will include all hanging and freestanding components from Transformit’s catalog. Transformit can provide full installation services in Europe. Rentals will be managed by Lina Newhouser, based in Transformit’s Gorham, ME headquarters.
Comstar Interactive Corp. has unveiled the ShowInfo wireless lead collection and processing solution, which allows exhibitors to collect lead information by scanning an attendee’s show pass using a lightweight, wearable device. The data is transmitted wirelessly to a customizable, web-based reporting system, where it can be viewed instantly at the show or at the office. Lexmark Canada purchased four 10' exhibits with standard fabric panels from Professional Displays, Inc. Two years later, Pro created new displays for Lexmark by utilizing the existing hardware to revamp the displays. Photomurals were added to three of the units. The fourth display was customized with backlit Bubble Panels highlighting the Company logo.
