Exhibits-International, a leading exhibit firm, has changed its name to Kubik Inc. “Given the changes in the scope of our work, our name was not reflective of our organization’s transformation, growth, business lines and geographic reach,” said John Collins, Chief Marketing Officer of Kubik. “Our new name captures the added dimension we bring to our work and communicates that we are really in the business of building extraordinary experiences.” Kubik recently built a 135,000 sq.ft. office and manufacturing facility in Toronto and also has offices in Amsterdam to serve clients in Europe.



Globotech offers the SOLO modular exhibit system. The basic SOLO unit is a sales counter that weighs less than 30 lbs and can be set up in less than a minute without tools. Coats wanted a cool display that integrated with a semi-private conference room. This exhibit has a pop-up display on the left and an ExpoSpace on the right. Planview Exhibits created this 20' x 20' exhibit for Acme Packet. TPR Enterprises

Dimensional Communications, a Northvale, NJ-based exhibit designer and Lightspeed Design Group of Bellevue, WA, created a display for Mercedes Benz to highlight its new car models at the New York Auto Show. The display used two sets of four 60" plasma screens mounted vertically with Lightspeed’s digital media server technology, DepthQ, delivering a resolution of 1366 x 768 each. Lightspeed shot 3,600 high resolution stills using a “go-motion” technique which creates realistic motion.

Structural Graphics, Essex, CT, recently created a trade show handout for Siteworx, a web design firm. The Company wanted to convey that it can redesign web sites in a painless manner. Structural Graphics produced staged pop-up handouts, measuring 6x9 inches folded, featuring the classic image of silent film comedian Harold Lloyd dangling from the hands of a building’s broken clock face and the headline “It's Time To Rebuild Your Web Site (Don't Panic).” When the brochure is opened, the clock pops out from a photograph of the building and a die-cut Lloyd hangs in the air.
