Events continue to grow in importance among corporate marketers globally, according to EventView ‘05, an annual study of face-to-face marketing trends sponsored by The George P. Johnson Co., Auburn Hills, MI, and the MPI Foundation. Some 96% of corporate marketing executives utilize events and 93% view the importance of event marketing to be constant or increasing. For the first time, “enhancing the customer relationship” rose to the top as event marketing’s predominant criteria for success, compared with brand preferences, awareness, product knowledge and leads indicated in previous years. More than 80% of respondents said that coordinating with a broader marketing campaign significantly heightens event success.

Graco Exhibits At AWFS

Graco Inc., a designer and manufacturer of industrial and commercial systems to measure, dispense and spray fluids, sought a stand out exhibit among the 900 vendors at the Association of Woodworking & Furnishing Suppliers AWFS Fair in Las Vegas.
