Viad Corp. has appointed John Jastrem as President and CEO of its Exhibitgroup/Giltspur division, (www.e-g.com). Jastrem will lead Exhibitroup’s team of approximately 500 employees at more than 25 offices and multi-use facilities worldwide. Prior to joining the Company, Jastrem was an executive with Omnicom Group where he headed two of its subsidiaries, Rapp Collins Worldwide, LP (RCW-Dallas) and The Marketing Arm (TMA). Jastrem served as president of Omnicom’s experiential marketing services agency TMA, which specializes in creating and executing branded experiences using entertainment, music, sports and events platforms.



XPEL Technologies, a leader in the electronic delivery of top automotive aftermarket products, recently exhibited at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas. Blue Man Group-Making Waves, is a national touring exhibit supported by Harman/Becker Automotive Systems powered by JBL technology. At the Slide-u-lum, Build-u-lum, Sand Drum and Theramin, children will have an opportunity to see, feel and create sound. At the PVC Station, visitors can play Blue Man Group instruments, and the whole experience culminates in the Surround Sound Theater with a musical piece by Blue Man Group.



3D Exhibits recently completed a new trade show exhibit for The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau (CCTB). The open and inviting design of the exhibit draws visitors with photos of famous Chicago attractions and a cut-out of the city’s famous skyline. The new McCormick West Building is represented through a cantilever overhang and support pier whose architecture is derived from the design of the McCormick Place complex.
