Renaissance Learning wanted to add a vibrant new element to its trade show presentation at the Florida Educational Technology Conference. The exhibit creates a theme park of education. Larger-than-life structural elements from the archetypal classroom draw attention to the exhibit. For example, topped by pink foam eraser heads and rotating on turntables hidden within their pencil sharper bases, four 16-foot high pencils establish the four corners of the exhibit. And two 14-foot high rulers carry the company name. At the center, the main theatre is represented as a gigantic open book, crafted with an aluminum frame and fabric. Each demonstration area features “play stations” where visitors can try Renaissance Learning’s software. The exhibit is a 20'x30' island with an adjacent 10'x30' inline component. The exhibit was created by nParallel, a Plymouth, MN-based exhibit firm; (Web Site) www.nparallel.com
