Contempo Design, an exhibit firm located in Libertyville, IL, created a 30' x 50' island exhibit for the Swan Corp., a provider of solid surface products for the kitchen and bath. The environment incorporated the Swanstone solid surface as one of the main materials in the booth. Six freestanding product displays were positioned around the booth perimeter to draw crowd interest from the aisle. Product displays were designed to allow for easy change-out, removing and inserting through the backs of the product bays and the underside of the freestanding product displays. Several design considerations helped minimize costs: lighting in the exhibit was integrated into the structure to eliminate rigging costs; all of the product bays and displays ship as complete units thereby minimizing on-site labor costs; product bays are on wheels to allow for easy, fast placement; all graphics were mounted to substrates that can be removed from the exhibit structure so graphics can be easily replaced.
