Sal Cavallaro, CME, Chairman of the Trade Show Exhibitors Association’s Board of Directors, has announced the appointment of Stephen Schuldenfrei as President of TSEA. Cavallaro said, “TSEA’s Board of Directors believes that Steve will carry forward TSEA’s commitment to servicing the exhibition and event marketing community.” Schuldenfrei brings an extensive background both with trade shows and association management. He previously was Executive Director of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) and President of the Exposition Operations Society (EOS).

Mirror Show Management, a Rochester, NY-based exhibit firm, (www.mirrorshow.com), recently developed this new style of tensioned fabric inline exhibit for Ivoclar Vivadent to attract attention to Ivoclar’s varied lines of dental products. Bold graphic panels are suspended from cables and easily interchanged with different product groups. Ivoclar Vivadent’s upgraded appearance won them increased awareness on the show floor.

MICE North America has opened a Minneapolis office lead by industry veteran Teri Mascotti. Joining Mice as Vice President of Sales, Mascotti heads an experienced Twin Cities-based team skilled at delivering experiential marketing solutions. MICE Minneapolis marks the sixth North American opening by the MICE Group since January 2004. “As part of a local MICE team, we offer clients a new and better solution than what has been available in the past,” said Mascotti. Mascotti brings with her more than 15 years of sales, marketing, management, operations and consulting experience across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining MICE North America, Mascotti was director of retail and exhibit sales and marketing for a Minneapolis-based exhibit company.



Samsung Electronics recently unveiled cutting-edge new products at the CeBIT 2005 trade show in Hanover, Germany. The world's largest PDP, LCD and DLP TVs were part of the range of technologies on display highlighting Samsung’s portfolio of design-led, innovative products.



SSD Company Ltd., has launched a “Virtual Sports Challenge” interactive exhibit at INNOVENTIONS, a hands-on interactive exhibit at Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. This new 1,135 sq. ft. exhibit offers visitors an opportunity to experience the excitement and potential of interactive technology through hands-on demonstrations of XaviX interactive sports games. Equipped with large-screen TV, XaviXPORT consoles and XaviXBaseball, XaviXBowling and XaviXTennis games, the exhibit showcases how XaviX combines leading-edge human interface sensors to allow any TV to respond directly to a user’s actions. The games are designed to get players up and moving as they bowl a strike, throw a curveball or hit a pitch.



Outwater Plastics offers Mini Klem and Super Klem, universal connectors that easily enable panels with thickness from 1/8" to ¾" to be connected at any angle between 90 degrees and 270 degrees.
