Iomega & Sega Join For Dreamcast Option
Iomega Corp. and Sega have announced plans to include Iomega’s popular Zip 100MB drive in a new collaborative product that will be designed to attach to Sega’s Dreamcast system. "The product will be designed not only to increase the capabilities of game playing, but Web-based activities such as e-mail storage and Web searches." The product is expected to be offered as an option to Sega Dreamcast customers in the third quarter of 1999.
Colgate-Palmolive Features First Flexible Head Toothbrush
Colgate-Palmolive has introduced the Colgate Navigator toothbrush, offering flexible head design which adjusts to the contours of an individual's mouth and teeth, a feature that no other major brand offers. The soft, flexible head is designed to reduce the amount of pressure on gums while brushing. The product, available in five different color variants, begins shipping to food, drug, and mass merchandisers in June, supported by advertising and multiple high-value coupons.

Karine Joret has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Live Events. In her new post, Joret will be responsible for developing Live Events, a new business unit of Warner Bros. In addition, she will continue to be responsible for Worldwide Public Relations and Publicity activities for all of Warner Bros. Consumer Products' operating units, including Warner Bros. Studio Stores and Worldwide Licensing.
Thomson-Leeds Names J. Sprague, V.P.
Thomson-Leeds Co., Inc., a New York City-based p.o.p. advertising and sales promotion agency, has announced the appointment of John Sprague as V.P. Mr. Sprague was previously with Dislay Systems as V.P., Sales and Marketing. Doug Leeds, Chairman and CEO, Thomson-Leeds, said: "John’s 17 years of experience in sales and management will be an asset to Thomson-Leeds."
Ariston Relocates
Ariston, a division of Graphic Design Technologies, Inc., is marking 50 years in large-format printing with a move to a new 130,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located in Springfield, NJ. The move brings the entire operation under one roof, thus improving workflow and operating efficiency, as well as providing added space for additional equipment.
