Enamelon Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste Introduced

Enamelon, Inc., Yonkers, NY, has introduced Enamelon Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste, formulated with soluble calcium and phosphate. Enamelon delivers a breakthrough remineralization technology to strengthen tooth enamel and help stop cavities before they begin.

Every time food is eaten, oral bacteria produce destructive plaque acids that attack tooth enamel causing the loss of calcium and phosphate, the major structural components of teeth. Enamelon is the first sodium fluoride toothpaste that provides an assured level of soluble calcium and phosphate ions to enhance the remineralization activity of fluoride. Enamelon penetrates tooth enamel and restores the calcium and phosphate in demineralized areas. The remineralized enamel is stronger and more resistant to future acid attacks and decay.
