Sprite Launches 'Thirst Out' Under-The-Cap Promotion
Sprite has launched "Thirst Out," one of the brand's longest running under-the-cap promotions ever, offering 52 million instant-win prizes on 20-ounce bottles of Sprite through December 2004. Participants include Blockbuster, which is offering free movie and video game rentals and "rent-one-get-one-free" movie and game offers. The promotion will also include prizes from Musicmatch, a leader in personalized music software and services, and downloadable cell phone ring tones from MIDIRing Tones.
Thirst, the star of Sprite's national advertising campaign, will be featured in a new television ad and two new radio ads for the promotion. The Thirst Out promotion will also be supported by point-of-purchase displays at retail.

Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines Announces Low Carb Wines
Diageo Chateau and Estate Wines announced that three of its wine brands, BV Coastal Estates, Sterling Vintners Collection and Century Cellars, all meet the definition of a "low carb" alcohol beverage. DC&E will use point-of-sale materials, including bottle neckers and in-store displays, informing consumers that these wines meet the new low carb guidelines and providing nutritional information.
Eggo Syrup Featured In 'Power Display' For In-Store Sampling Event
Kellogg Company recently used this "Power Display" to execute an in-store sampling event for the promotion of its Eggo Syrup product.
The Power Display is an in-store demo kit whose carton transforms into an instant display unit designed to increase product sales during in-store sampling events and beyond. It was created by PromoWorks, L.L.C., a leading provider of in-store sampling and retail-entertainment events and promotions, located in Schaumburg, IL.

Coca-Cola C2 Debuts
The Coca-Cola Company is introducing Coca-Cola C2 this summer, containing half the sugar, carbohydrates and calories of regular colas. An integrated marketing campaign will support the roll-out including TV, radio, out-of-home and Internet advertising. "Coca-Cola C2 was created to specifically address consumer desire for a lower-calorie cola with that great Coca-Cola taste," said Doug Daft, Chairman and CEO, The Coca-Cola Company.
Bayer HealthCare Introduces One-A-Day CarbSmart
Bayer HealthCare has introduced One-A-Day CarbSmart, a complete multivitamin specially formulated to provide key nutrients low-carb followers may not be getting enough of, including B vitamins found in enriched grains like bread and pasta, vitamins C, E, beta-carotene and calcium.

Del Laboratories, Inc. is licensing the use of the Elizabeth Arden and Red Door trademarks to produce salon nail care products. William McMenemy, Exec. V.P. of Marketing at Del, said, "Our expertise in the nail care business together with the great Elizabeth Arden and Red Door salon and spa heritage provide a unique selling proposition based on the strengths of both companies." This agreement marks the first entrée into the professional salon channel for Del, a leading manufacturer of nail care products to the mass marketing channel. Chrysler Group Announces New Marketing Appointments
