Cole Sewell Introduces Storm Door "Select" Display

Cole Sewell’s new "Select" in-store display program is interactive and puts more than 500 different storm door designs right at the consumers’ fingertips. The display lets homeowners design their own storm doors by selecting from five door colors, five door styles, six exterior handles and seven glass designs.

The display also helps consumers visualize how a particular combination of the components might look as a complete door. By spinning three overlapping wheels, consumers can "build" a picture of their door and see it in a picture of a front entry of a home.

Six different exterior handles are mounted on the display, so shoppers can compare their look and feel. Consumers also can have their doors the same day, without the usual wait for custom or special orders.

"The Select program grew out of market research and in-store talks with consumers that indicated they wanted the option of choosing a different style of handle than came with the storm door they purchased," said Michael Gottsacker, Cole Sewell’s Director of Marketing. "With Select, consumers have total freedom not only to choose their handle but to choose one of seven glass styles as well."
