Miller Brewing Running "Float Through Summer" Promotion

Miller Brewing Company, using rafts and other water-related displays, is inviting beer drinkers to "float through summer" in a national off-premise promotion.

Mickey Davis, Promotions Manager for Miller Brewing Company, said: "Water sports and water fun are big parts of summer for people across the country. Miller joins in the excitement with a promotion that reminds adult beer drinkers to cool off with water activities and Miller brands."

Point-of-sale materials include a water-themed spectacular display as well as an inflatable inner tube with danglers, cut-outs, case cards, and banners. Consumer items include a two-person raft, chair floats and beach towels.


ABC Video & Holiday Inn Join To Promote "Olympica: America's Gold"

ABC Video and Holiday Inn have teamed-up on an Olympic Torch Relay promotion. ABC Video’s "Olympica: America’s Gold" videos will be heavily promoted during the torch relay through signage on the state-of-the-art 45 foot Holiday Inn Olympic cruiser whose route will mirror the Torch relay, and on video monitors at Holiday Inn "Olympic site" locations.

The Holiday Inn Olympic cruiser will arrive at participating Holiday Inn locations in advance of the torch’s arrival. A special "Olympic museum" will be set-up in the Holiday Inn parking lot, featuring two kiosks running a continuous video loop of "Olympica: America’s Gold," Volumes I and II, promoting availability of the videos at local retailers; a museum of Olympic history with displays and photographs from past Olympic Games and a patriotic wishing well wall which people can sign to support American Olympians.


Healthy Choice To Debut New Line of Soups

Healthy Choice has introduced a Line of condensed soups which offers consumers innovative ways to make nutritious recipes. The line consists of six varieties, such as Cream of Mushroom with Cracked Pepper & Herbs and Tomato with Garden Herbs.

Healthy Choice will support the introduction with special point-of-sale materials along with print and televison advertising, and free-standing coupon inserts.


Delta Air & American Express Travel Services Target Female Business Traveler

Delta Air Lines has partnered with American Express Travel Related Services targeting the female frequent business traveler.

"The Executive Woman’s Travel Network" consists of an innovative Internet site as well as special offers from Delta and five corporate partners. Through the web site or by calling a toll free 800 number, travelers can request special offers on Delta Air Lines, Hertz rental cars, Radisson Hotels, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Clifford & Wills catalogue, and FTD.

The web site was created by Modem Media, Westport, CT, with assistance from design studio, I/O 360, New York City.


Fasteners For Retail Promotes D. Kimmel To President

Fasteners For Retail, Inc., Cleveland, a point-of-purchase display accessories firm, has promoted Donald F. Kimmel to President.

He was formerly the VP of Business Development and Assistant to the Chairman. He will be responsible for managing all areas of the firm's operations including strategic planning and implementation.
