Sears Introduces T.i.m.e. Instant Makeup Expert

Sears is introducing T.i.m.e. The Instant Makeup Expert, a new color cosmetics line perfect for the woman who prides herself on looking styish but has no time to spare. T.i.m.e. creatively combines high quality, trend-right makeup shades with time-saving convenience by offering women pre-selected, expertly coordinated beauty palettes. T.i.m.e. offers a wide array of shade choices in 15 beauty palettes that are comprised of five color categories: brown, pink, tawny, plum and wine. Each palette is available in a "ready-to-go" kit and to ensure that a woman will find color choices to best suit her, T.i.m.e. products are also sold individually so favorites can be restored. Each all-inclusive kit is available in a chic, ice blue mini-makeup bag that slips easily into a purse or pouch. While shopping, each T.i.m.e. customer will enjoy a self-service environment that is "pressure-free" and products that are easily accessible and testable. Knowledgeable, trained beauty advisors are also on-hand to provide product information and beauty advice.


Reebok Appoints C. Lee Creative Director

Reebok brand has appointed Christopher Lee to the newly created position of Brand Creative Director. In this position, Lee assumes global responsibility for directing and implementing the creative design function across Reebok's footwear and apparel strategic business units. Lee will also develop the global design strategic plans for use of the Reebok Brand name and logos in all graphic representations, including advertising, in-store merchandising, packaging and collateral materials. Lee will report to Angel Martinez, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Reebok International Ltd. Lee joins Reebok from Wade Smith Limited, a major independent retailer in the U.K., where he was Buying and Creative Director.


Virgin Altantic Airways Appoints J. Riordan Sales & Mktg. VP, N.A.

Virgin Altantic Airways has appointed John Riordan to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, N.A. Riordan will oversee the airline's marketing, market development, corporate and leisure sales, as well as telephone sales, and industry and public affairs. Riordan joins Virgin after six years with US Airways, where he most recently served as Manager of Dividend Miles Program.


Victoria's Secret Names D. Landman VP Of Mdsg., Hosiery

Denise Landman has been appointed Vice President of Merchandising, Hosiery for Victoria's Secret Stores, a division of Intimate Brands, Inc. Landman will be responsible for leading product merchandising of Lingerie for Legs, Victoria's Secret's line of sexy and luxurious hosiery. Previously, Landman was the President of Pennaco Hosiery, a division of Danskin, Inc.


Warner Bros. Restructures Worldwide Corporate Promotions Departmen

Warner Bros. has restructured its Worldwide Corporate Promotions department, increasing the responsibilities of its Senior Vice President, Bob Schneider, to include promotional activities for the studio's motion pictures. Schneider will now report to Sanford E. Reisenbach, the Company's Executive Vice President of Marketing and Planning, on corporate promotional issues; and to Brand A. Ball, President of Warner Bros. Domestic Theatrical Marketing, on matters pertaining to domestic promotions tied to feature films. In addition, Erin Corbett has been named Director, Warner Bros. National Theatrical Promotions, moving up from her former post as Manager of the same area.


Display Technologies Appoints F. Monfort, Managing Dir. of Intl.

Display Technologies has appointed Fernando A. Monfort to Managing Director of International. Monfort will be responsible for overseeing Display Technologies' sales and marketing efforts outside the U.S. He is currently recruiting an international sales force, and developing manufacturing and distribution facilities around the world. Most recently, he worked for Avon Products as V.P. for New Channels-Europe. Display Technologies is a leading designer/manufacturer of in-store and outdoor retail merchandisers.


Great Lakes Packaging Appoints J. Nelson VP Of Mktg.

Great Lakes Packaging Corporation has appointed James Nelson as Vice President of Marketing and Planning. Previously, Nelson ws the Vice President of National Display Sales and Marketing for Smurfit-Stone. Great Lakes Packaging is a manufacturer of product packaging and point-of-purchase displays.


Leggett Announces Recent Acquisitions

Leggett & Platt, Carthage, MO, announced recent acquisitions of privately held companies to enhance Leggett's design and manufacturing capabilities in each of the following areas. Store Fixtures: Met Displays of Chicago, IL and Toledo Store Fixtures of Perrysburg, OH. Point-of-Purchase Displays: Beeline Group of Newark, CA. Storage and Material Handling Systems: Jarke Corporation of Niles, IL and Arc Specialties of Valencia, CA. Two other acquired businesses manufacture components for Residential Furnishings.


Davidson Marketing Names I. Dolin Sr. AE

Davidson Marketing Inc., Chicago, IL, has named Ira Dolin as a Senior Account Executive on the Microsoft account. His responsibilities include managing project development and execution for Microsoft, concentrating on Internet promotions.
