When consumers purchase a Bud Ice or Bud Ice Light longneck at participating on-premise accounts, they receive a free Bud Iceicle. Bud Iceicles are twist-top tubes filled with an assortment of colored flavors that consumers pour into Bud Ice longneck bottles creating a dramatic change in color and a unique taste experience.

Bud Iceicles promotional kits, currently being distributed nationwide, include special serve trays, menu/table tents, counter cards and banners.
On-and off-premise accounts have the option of ordering team-specific NHL merchandising materials. The 96-97 Bud Ice/NHL POS campaign includes price cards, commemorative banners, stringer pennants, case cards, table tents, cooler stickers, tv talkers that display the date and time of the next televised game, display wraps and inflatables. Throughout NHL arenas Bud Ice will be a presence on stadium signage dasher boards and Zamboni machines as well as in-ice logos.
A new web site, (budice.com) will provide extensive information for hockey fans and offer "Ice Gear" ranging from hockey sweaters to Penguin "Dooby Dooby Doo" T-shirts, celebrating Bud Ice’s "Penguin" commercials.
