POPAI Presents Chief Award To Miller Brewing Co.
The Point-of-Purchase Advertising Institute, (POPAI), Washington, D.C., presented its 1996 Chief Award, the highest honor bestowed by POPAI, to Miller Brewing Company at the industry’s recent Marketplace trade show.
John N. "Jack" MacDonough, Chairman of the Miller Brewing Company, in accepting the award, said, "It could
well be argued that point-of-purchase is the most important medium we use. If you make effective use of point-of-purchase, you can remind the consumer of all the media that has gone before--the television commercials, the print ads, and all the other elements of the marketing mix."

Coca-Cola Conducts NFL Red Zone Promotion
Coca-Cola is conducting "The Coca-Cola NFL Red Zone" promotion, offering fans the ultimate NFL prize: Super Bowl tickets for life. The grand prize, a lifetime of all-expense paid trips to the Super Bowl, will be awarded from thousands of finalists who successfully match their Coca-Cola NFL Red Zone number, found under the red cap or red tab on specially marked Coca-Cola classic bottles and cans, with the total points scored from the Red Zone (the area between the goal line and the 20 yard line) during select ABC Monday Night Football games this Fall.
Six first prize winners will receive trips for two to Super Bowl XXXI1 in New Orleans. Other prizes include 6,000 NFL team Starter jackets and coupons redeemable for free Coca-Cola classic 12 packs.

New Inland Identity Reflects Packaging & Display Services
