The objective for this program was to develop a piece to provide a display and support vehicle for Planters Cans or Jars (9 oz. Or larger). The display unit featured a standee riser card with lug-on basketball player and lug-on backboard. The graphics were designed to support the "$10,000 lay up" consumer promotion riser card. The display also featured a Mail-in tear pad and contest details. The display was shipped "KD" on pallets with product, to grocery, drug and mass retailers.

The Revlon Moonraker "Sandwich Tester" is a merchandising system that can be adaptable to individual European and Asian markets. An affordable method of production utilizing common tools had to be developed to allow specific markets to customize a product mix. Individual markets throughout Europe and Asia are able to customize their product mix, test and merchandise products in any given tray by category or by co-merchandising with other products. These flexible units provide the ability to prepare for new product launches. This display was designed by Revlon, and manufactured by P.O.P. Displays International in its UK plant.

Pepsi’s summer promotion tied into the excitement and appeal of the Star Wars blockbuster, "The Phantom Menace" with an array of P.O.P. materials. This 3-D sign brought the glamour of the Star Wars characters into the retail store. The signs are pre-printed vacuum formed styrene with the characters in dimension with real textures. Two signs were mounted back to back with a hole on the top for easy hanging from the ceiling. The texture and dimension was achieved through careful sculpting and precise vacuum forming of the pre-printed styrene sheets. The promotion was featured in C & G Stores.

Tobacco companies are limited in the amount of graphics allowed on signs. Rules vary by country, but for the most part, animals, cute and youthful stimulus, is forbidden. In an attempt to recreate a brand image with strong memory retention...the usual kangaroo on the Winfield logo was removed and replaced with "Jumps". The name Winfield was shortened to Win...d. These signs with the brightness and implied motion afforded by fiber optics catches the eye. The signs were created for Rothman’s in France.

Americast Cable TV offered its new Americast Advantage Service for premium movies, expanded programming and more value. A direct marketing program was created to communicate the value of Advantage Service and provide an enticing offer to secure sign-ups of current and potential customers. In April, 1999 Flair designed the "Spring Back to Great Entertainment" direct mailer which offered a fresh look at all the great movies that were being offered. To get potential customers to sign up, a limited time one free month of service was offered.

Sterling’s patented Lion King Inflatable Chair continues to be a popular success. It was selected by Disney to accompany the video release of their blockbuster Lion King movie. The chair design has a smooth, wrinkle-free backrest which allows a complete logo or graphics to be reproduced without any distortion.

This display was designed for Wilson Sporting Goods’ Tennis Division. It was created as part of an international marketing campaign to introduce a new, state-of-the-art "Hyper Carbon Tennis Racket". Wilson’s campaign communicates with a space theme, as the material of the racket has been used extensively in the aerospace industry, prior to its use in the sporting goods business. The "Galaxy" space image display holds one Hyper Carbon Tennis Racket and incorporates a handy literature pocket. The multi-functional, vacuum-formed design is flexible as it can be mounted on slatwall or used as a freestanding counter unit.

The Bath & Body Works Wall Unit was custom designed for the "Beautiful By Nature" cosmetic line. It provides an open sell environment which is easy to shop. The display is broken down into three categories: eyes, lips, face. It is produced from a combination of materials ranging from metal fabrication, wood, aluminum and acrylic. The Wall Unit has been placed in over 1,000 stores.

This dramatic dragon tail design for Skechers 5 Shelf fashion floor display is constructed from metal and acrylic. The four color vinyl banner sign features strong name recognition, visual impact and reinforces the image of the brand and is consistent with the print advertising campaign. The metal parts have two soft durable powder colors which are appealing to both sexes. The merchandiser offers flexibility and may be placed in various locations. It can be shopped by more than one customer at a time with two to three shoes merchandised on each shelf. The product presentation and visibility offered is excellent.

Molson Canadian was looking to broaden brand visibility in the Northeast, an area important to the brand’s growth. They wanted a unique design to attract the consumer and to support the Molson Canadian outdoor image in the marketplace. Integrating a dimensional Molson Canadian logo with a slice of a large tree trunk accomplished the branding. The use of a dimensional logo and maple leaf icon ties directly to the packaging and other merchandising elements for a consistent marketing message. The 15 ½" diameter by 2 ½" thick display is molded from rigid polyurethane foam and is decorated using five colors and screen printed three colors. The display shows the versatility of urethane as a way to reproduce unique textures and dimensional surfaces.

Walmart wanted a promotional eyewear display that could be moved around the store easily and still hold a tremendous amount of product. This merchandiser was designed for grand openings, side walk sales and holidays such as July 4. It is lightweight and constructed of printed cardboard. Angled vacuum formed trays make the eyewear easily accessible to the consumer. The bottom has an MDF platter with 5 casters so that the display can be rolled from one department to the next, i.e. garden department, swimwear, sun tan lotion, etc. The base has two storage compartments for reloading the unit and Helium balloons are supplied for greater attraction at retail.

Pepperidge Farm sought to maximize sales by creating a display which would set-up in under 30 seconds, required limited floor space, yet would hold 10-12 cases of product. This corrugated cookie/cracker display is erected in 10 seconds and has an optional riser. The design allows for modularity with multiple lay-outs.

The Timber Wolf Mirror was designed to boost brand recognition in the highly competitive smokeless tobacco market. Swedish Match of North America wanted a unique display which would be cost-effective so that it could achieve wide-spread distribution. Both the frame and mirror areas are decorated with full color lithographs that tie in with the client’s print advertising. The brand’s Timber Wolf mascot was included with the display as a die-cut accessory to be placed on the frame to create a 3-dimensional appearance.

Bristol Myers Squibb Canada was launching the Aussie line of shampoos and conditioners with a large in-store promotion featuring trips to Australia along with other prizes. The corrugated floor display had to offer a large graphics area that would be able to convey the images of the destination. The display had to be strong enough to ship as a 45 pound prepack and endure transport by couriers. The round design respected strict Canadian retail size requirements and allowed the display to get center aisle position.

This unique Corona Floating pool bar was constructed for The Gambrinus Company. The design and construction of this inflatable makes it an attractive promotional vehicle as well as a fun and functional addition for the back yard. The pool bar is constructed with several recessed drink/can holders as well as a recess in the center to hold a standard size cooler. Colorful graphics are also printed on the bottom of the pool bar for "Underwater" advertising. Many re-orders of this inflatable were received.

The Bath & Body "Beautiful by Nature" Playstation was designed to serve as a completely interactive, free-standing play station for the Bath & Body Works’ new color cosmetic line, "Beautiful by Nature." The three nested tables have a flexible design that can be used in a number of different configurations to accommodate various retail space sizes. The table and bench are fabricated in white lacquered wood with brushed aluminum tops. The modular product displays hold both testers and open sell merchandise. The product is broken down into categories (eyes, lips, nails, etc.) for ease of use. The displays are fabricated in white powder-coated metal with injection molded cavities and aluminum face bezels. The play stations feature additional components including mirrors, tissue boxes, trash bins, applicator holders, an overhead sign, as well as individual marketing/sale signs.

Pepsi’s introduced a series of collector cans as part of its promotion tieing in to the Star Wars film, "The Phantom Menace". There were 24 different cans which the consumer could collect, each with a different figure from Star Wars. This 24 can merchandiser is vacuum formed to display all 24 Collector Cans. The unit is designed to be placed on a wall to create impulse sales. The display is vacuum formed in black styrene with a 4-color printed decal on the header area.. The merchandiser is designed so that the cans are held firmly in position but can be removed by the consumer for a close up look.

This inflatable VM Bug with Dangler was produced for S.C. Johnson Wax/Zubi Advertising for the Raid Bug Spray product. The eye-catching red 1999 Model VM Beetle calls attention to product information on the hanging Dangler. The "VM Bug" ties in to "Raid Bug Spray" and its famous cartoon bug characters in television ads for sell-through marketing. 3,000 units were placed, half Spanish/English and half English.

GPC is a value brand cigarette produced by Brown & Williamson Tobacco. Flair planned a GPC sampling and special event program and tied it in with the George Strait Music Festival, an 18 city music festival. The music festival was sold out in every city and attracted 950,000 attendees. At each show there was a special area for adults only titled, GPC Straitland. In this area there was a GPC trading Post where attendees could sample the GPC Brand and were given free packages. 75% of the attendees (713,000) visited the Straitland area. Prior to the George Strait Music Festival, in all 18 cities, a bar/club "GPC Main Event Night" promotion was planned where customers could enter a sweepstakes to win tickets to the Music Festival or CD’s. They could also enter a George Strait look-alike contest to win back stage passes.

The Kwik-Stak display is a new addition to the line of Art-Phyl’s stock P.O.P. displays. Each 14 ¼" x 19 ¾" heavy duty tray is molded from styrene with a 5/8" high inside lip and a 2" high outside sidewall (for labels and graphics etc.) The standard heavy duty 1 ¾" dia. riser tubes are 15" high. Custom tube lengths are available and sizes can be mixed in a single display. The standard color is white with custom colors available.

Omnipoint Communications, Inc. used this 6’ Kiosk to showcase its cellular phones, and to offer brochures and regional coupon and advertising information. The unit is structurally sound and provides storage. It offers an easy way to change graphic panels. The permanent unit has been placed at national accounts such as Staples as well as at Omnipoint Center Stores.

The Lancome Oui Tester provides a dynamic product presentation incorporating a bottle tester and a specially created fragrance Liquatouch sampler. The unit is designed to generate trial, impulse sales and create a distinctive image for this new fragrance. The distinctive design of the unit, especially the dominant use of the "O", created a unique and impressive counter presentation. It caught the attention of consumers and encouraged trial, which led to multiple purchases. The ability to test the fragrance and/or use the Liquatouch samples generated additional interest and further enhanced the image of the brand. Placement was universal. The unit was designed and manufactured by P.O.P. Displays International.

This mobile kit features a simple and inexpensive Fastener which will turn P.O.P. messages into an eye-catching mobile. This uniquely designed kit ships compactly and assembles quickly on-site without tools. Wire arms slide through the fastener for perfect balance. Each mobile center comes with four protective wire endcaps for each arm. These endcaps also act as fastening points for each printed message. To suspend a message, plain, barbed or beaded string may be used. Part kits, or bulk fasteners are also offered.

RJR Macdonald needed a promotional vehicle to highlight their sponsorship of the Canadian Skins Golf tournament being held at Mont Tremblant, Quebec. They decided on a display that would be quite practical. The attempt was to insure that the display remained in sight long after the golf was over. The display features two golf balls that may be used to hold either ball markers, tees or pencils, while the back of the unit can hold the score cards. The display was intended for select golf courses throughout Canada. The display was constructed of vacuum-formed plastic, acrylic and wood.

Using signs as a form of dealer incentive is a widely used merchandising tool. It is especially powerful since the sign is a branded item. Fender continues to use fiber optics because its dealers like the displays. The brightness and implied motion associated with the signs enhances brand identity and memory retention. The halogen lamps now need changing only every 5,000 hours making this a low maintenance permanent display.

This display was designed to spotlight Nike’s eyewear and watches. The counter display is compact allowing for the strategic placement either on or immediately adjacent to the cash wrap fixture. The display can hold as many as 12 watches/6 glasses or as few as 4 watches/2 glasses. Flexibility is achieved through simple-to-use adjustable wire-form support arms.

The modular system is constructed of high -impact polystyrene, and is a customized TechStoc unit. Spring-loaded trays form the foundation of the system. Each tray is 2 ¼" high an depths are adjustable at retail form 14" to 18". To meet the challenge of displaying products of differing dimensions, the trays are manufactured in two widths: 4" and 6". The trays feature the TechStoc Track & Pusher System using a spring mechanism to consistently move packages to the front of the display as they are dispensed.

The Smirnoff Tower Floor Standing unit is made with 3/8" thick clear and frosted Acrylic with brushed aluminum accents and mounted Duratrans. The base is MDF with brushed aluminum laminate. The new displays are built around the new heavy duty 18" x 24" modular Super-Panel. The holes are ¼" dia.
