GOLDEN BOOKS CHRISTMAS EVENT 1998. The goal was to have 4-way visibility, reduce parts, reduce set-up time and be modular. A clip systems with lock-in trays was used to maintain ease at set-up. The display has no back walls allowing for a more open look. Seasonal graphics embellished with the lug-on provided seasonal appeal required to promote impulse buying. OCEAN SPRAY SERPENTINE 111. The object was to create a display that impacts shelf presence and maximizes attention for the Ocean Spray Liquid Concentrates brand, its two new flavors and new packaging. WOOD 108 SUNGLASS DISPLAY. This rugged fixture is geared to outdoor reception shops, sports specialty outlets, fishing tackle and specialty gift stores. It features natural stained knotty pine wood and holds 108 sunglasses. A rotation barrel with color coordinated black and silver trim, 3 full length mirrors and a base with a storage option comprise this display. SEARS FAUCET DISPLAY. This unit holds more faucets than previous displays and is easy to set up and adaptable to two different store layouts. It is constructed of laminated wood and aluminum extrusions. Faucets arrive at stores premounted to individual pods and a high gloss "counter top" finish gives the entire display an "installed" look. COLOR GAME BOY - COUNTER UNIT. This display introduced the new Color Game Boy to the marketplace. It creates brand awareness and highlights the color capabilities of the new Game Boy, as well as its animated graphics and variety of available games. TREND "BACK TO SCHOOL" PREPACK PALLET. TREND recognized an opportunity to leverage their in-line programs by creating a free-standing, pre-pack display offered to volume customers during the back to school season. The display had to be exceptional looking and affordable. These goals were accomplished with creative use of color and graphics. SEA & SKI FLOORSTAND. This display was designed to be a flexible floor merchandiser with removable sidecars and hidden castors which accommodated the re-introduction of this popular brand. By showcasing its full line of suncare product, Sea & Ski reminds consumers that all suncare needs can be met in one place. TASCO MILLENNIUM BINOCULAR DISPLAY. The objective was to launch a new line of binoculars and secure space "in case" for the line, while educating buyers on the features of the product, which includes an incentive of a free "countdown to the millennium" clock, with purchase. The display has a custom lacquer finished MDF base, with laser cut "blue ice" acrylic product platform. The display is shipped k/d in a carton only 2 ½" thick. RED STRIPE FLASHING BOTTLE OPENER. Guinness wanted to provide an attractive and durable facsimile of the Red Stripe Bottle to enhance On-Premise recognition. The display incorporates a commercial quality bottle opener and cap catcher which encourages installation in prominent locations. In addition, every time a bottle is uncapped (regardless of brand) the red stripe in the label flashes approximately 20 seconds to attract consumer attention. "USE YOUR CABEZA" MINI INFLATABLE BRAINS. These forty foot cold air inflatable lava lamps with floating brains inside, were one element of a detailed marketing and promotional campaign. They created memorable imagery to promote sales and familiarity with the product tag line, "Use your Cabeza, Drink Sol Cerveza." The inflatable captured the attention of consumers and influenced sampling and purchase in "on" and "off" premise locations. BEASTIE BOYS FLOOR DISPLAY. Capitol Records released the new Beastie Boys CD with key art for the cover of the Three Beastie Boys in a sardine can. A display had to draw attention to this hot new release and the display emulated the key art of the CD cover. The corrugated floor display is in E-flute Flexo printed in metallic inks. KENT TRAPEZIUM MOSAIC FIBEROPTIC DISPLAY. The Kent logo has changed many times in different international markets. The Kent Trapezium Mosaic combines most of the elements of the various logos into one very attractive display. The gradations of blue were only possible with fiber optics. WALMART FLORAL CART OUTPOST. Walmart required a display that could merchandise flowers throughout the year in a location outside the floral department. This display provides a merchandising vehicle for both fresh cut and potted flowers. Casters allow the cart to be easily moved. A blackboard header allows specials to be changed easily. AT&T UNMANNED KIOSK. This display creates an unmanned presence in locations other than normal cellular dealers to take advantage of their tremendous traffic flow. OIL OF OLAY SHOWCASE MERCHANDISING UNIT. The objective was to create a new approach to cosmetics merchandising in the mass merchant retail channel. This unit creates a distinct and controllable area within the store. The "showcase" has a clean, organized, upscale appearance, distinct from the typical mass merchant cosmetics department.
