Microsoft 2 Ft. Custom Unit

This display features an attractive presentation of the "LIVE" messaging with the product, which enables the consumer to understand what is needed to start the interactive product. The display was easy to install and provided a highlighted area that easily identified the product. Retailer feedback indicates that the merchandiser was a key part of the successful launch. It easily attracted buyers and answered their questions. This was one of the elements that anchored an $11 million launch of this X-Box LIVE line extension. The display, which won the Gold OMA in the Computer Software Category, was created by Harbor Industries, Inc., 141130 172nd Street, Grand Haven, MI 49417.


Sunkist "Go Nuts" Pistachio Display

This display was designed in the shape of an inflatable basketball shoe. To protect the shoe a pallet cover printed to look like a hardwood basketball court served as a pedestal with the inflatable shoe being used as a shell over a traditional dump bin. The display was used to expand the position of Sunkist Pistachios beyond football and into basketball and in two weeks, the promotion sold out, selling-in 4,000 displays across the country with the inflatable shoe providing a unique new look to the promotion. The display which won the Gold OMA in the Grocery & General Merchandising Products Category, was created by Action Inflatables and Justman Packaging & Display, 410 S. San Gabriel Blvd., Suite 3, San Gabriel, CA 91776-1956.


Robert Mondavi Luxury Brand 4 Case Display

The design objective for this display was to provide a high-end look to promote Robert Mondavi Luxury Brands. The materials featured birch plywood, various species of soft wood molding, water based stain and lacquer to give the display a furniture finish. Branded graphics were used to keep the look of the display elegant. This display was recently placed into the market and placement requests have already exceeded the initial order quantity. This display which won the Gold OMA in the Beverages - Liquor Cordials and Wines Category, was created by Ruszel Woodworks, 2980 Bayshore Road, Benicia, CA 94510.


Kraft Foods Back To School Bus

The display is comprised of over 57 various components which are transformed into a working display consisting of only 10 components for the retailer to handle at time of set-up. The center section of the display is modular and with the addition of a sales kit, the School Bus can be elongated to add additional hutches. The unit promoted multiple brands and the end result proved to be a fun, some what whimsical, school bus easily identifiable with both Kraft/Nabisco products and the theme of back-to-school. The display which won the Gold OMA in the snack Products and Soft Drinks Category, was created by Smurfit-Stone Display Group, 2900 Sprouse Drive, Richmond, VA 23231.


Bruce Hardwood Floors Vista Selling System

This system features three Slat Wall Modules constructed of steel tube frames and supports, and a Center Kiosk constructed of vinyl clad particle board. Product samples are displayed in sturdy wire trays. This is the only display in the industry that is completely modular relative to the presentation of product samples. Samples can be relocated with unlimited flexibility. Graphic holders and frames are also able to be placed anywhere on the display. The display will merchandise at least 160 product samples and supporting graphics. The display, which won the Gold OMA in the Home Furnishings and Housewares Category, was created by Harbor Industries, Inc., 141130 172nd Street, Grand Haven, MI 49417.


Dekuyper Pucker Neon

The colorful World of Pucker Schnapps is brought to life through the use of Neon. Each flavor, Sour Apple, Peach Tree or Peppermint, is brightly represented with its own rich colored neon letter. The lightweight Pucker Neon sign uses less than 3 square feet of space and is designed to fit in virtually any window or wall. The dimming feature on the neon power supply allows the retailer to choose how bright the sign should be during the day or nighttime. The sign immediately informs consumers that the retail establishment offers multiple flavors of the Pucker liqueur. The display, which won the Gold OMA in the Distilled Spirits-Illuminated or Motion Category, was created by Everbrite, Inc., 4949 S. 110th Street, Greenfield, WI 53223.


Energizer Rechargeable Floor Display

This display was created to promote a particular line of product. It can easily be moved to store-front or a related location where batteries are required and is shoppable from two sides. The attractive design and graphics easily captures the consumers' attention. The display is screen printed 4 color + clear UV on B-Flute & E-Flute Corrugated, with wheels attached at the 4 corners. The display is shipped assembled and pre-packed with product. This display which won a Gold OMA in the Toys and Accessories Category, was created by Artisan Complete, 100 Bentley Street, Markham, Ontario, Canada L3R 3L2.
