Easton Display Highlights Skate Technology
A display system for Easton Sports highlights its new skate technology and seasonally merchandises the company's lines of ice and in-line skates. The 16”h x 16”w x 6”d units may be used as either a countertop or slat wall display.
Easton wanted one display that could be utilized year round, simplifying merchandising for its retailers. The display also needed to communicate the new technology used in their respective skate lines. Retailers can easily change graphics and merchandising information.
The custom wire and metal skate holder features a die-cut back and base graphic panels with offset printing in 4-color with metallic ink highlights. An oval shaped metal stamping by the heel was used to produce a cardholder providing a place for additional merchandising information.
The Easton Sports display was created by Showtime Enterprises, Paulsboro, NJ.
Nike Fixture Offers Baseball & Softball Line
This unique fixture for Nike has the flexibility to merchandise Nike’s entire selection of baseball and softball products.
The body of the display is constructed out of a round tubular steel frame with a “chain link fence” wire grid welded to it. The fence creates the feeling of a baseball field and serves also as a highly functional grid for hanging product. The fixture was designed to merchandise a huge capacity of product in a compact space.
This fixture was created by Cormark, a point-of-purchase firm based in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Miller LiteRuns Season-Long Baseball Promotion
Miller Brewing is asking adult baseball fans to “Make the Call For Miller Lite” this season. The promotion includes a host of point-of-sale materials such as banners, display cards, posters, merchandise and other items.
Joe Jones, Miller’s Director, Brand Promotions, commented, “It's part of the tradition to enjoy the game with a cold beer.”
Coors Light Indy Car Inflatable
This 40" custom inflatable is a replica of a formula style race car. It provides an attractive image in-store and attracts the consumer at the point-of-purchase. Custom made replicas can be produced as small on-packs, as hanging displays or as giant stand-up displays for both indoor or outdoor use. The Coors Light Indy Car achieves brand recognition. Nike “Kit O Parts”
The objective of this program was to provide different retailers market distinction and adapt to their different logistical needs. The program also provides consumers with improved shoppability. Materials used include extruded aluminum, cold rolled powder coated steel, distortion printed vacuum formed plastic, die cast aluminum, low voltage halogen lighting. The Nike “Kit O Parts” won the Gold OMA in the Personal Products and Accessories category and was created by RTC Industries Inc., 2800 Golf Road, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.
MGD Keg On Ice Pool Table Lamp
This display was targeted for on-premise accounts such as pool halls and game rooms that serve Miller Genuine Draft, with the objective to increase visibility and recognition of the brand. A vacuum formed ice tray was sprayed and wiped for the “ice look.” An injection molded bottle was set inside a screened low relief vacuum formed wrap and two vacuum formed “keg” endcaps. The bottle inside the keg visually represents the idea that draft beer taste can be captured in a bottle. This display which won a Gold OMA in the Beverage-Beer category, was created by Everbrite, Inc., 4949 S. 110th Street, Greenfield, WI 53228.
EV Global Showroom Bike Display
EV Global Motors was looking to create a display that would introduce their new electric bicycle into the marketplace through auto dealerships and bike. The display acts as a “silent salesperson” educating the consumer with a continuous loop tape communicating the bike's features and benefits. The display is part of a comprehensive dealer start-up package. The transforming “lighting panel” conveys the message of electricity and enhances the attention grabbing effect of the display. This display which won the Gold OMA in the Sports, Toys and accessories category, was created by Frank Mayer & Associates, Inc., 1975 Wisconsin Avenue, Grafton, WI 53024.
Spaulding Basketball floor Display. The objective of this display was to gain secondary distribution leading to increased sales. The unit’s sleek design provides a perfect floor merchandiser. It creates a designed Spalding area for sporting good stores and encourages impulse purchases. Created by Einson Freeman, Inc., 61 South Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652. SILVER AWARD.
Interactive Retail System
Pearlson Development Corporation has introduced the Treeosk™ display, the ultimate small footprint stand-alone interactive retail system. It features Apple's Imac Computer with Elo's Itouch technology. The steel nest and pedestal that supports the Imac is welded to a 50 pound steel base plate.
