The Microsoft Windows® Mobilization global initiative was to create a dedicated retail destination in consumer electronics stores and mass merchandise retailers to transform the PC buying experience for consumers. Retailers are able to display PCs in a retail environment that is more user-friendly and welcomes and encourages consumers to spend time exploring and experiencing a variety of products to increase consumer confidence and satisfaction in their PC purchases. The merchandising displays feature PCs, peripherals and accessory products.
The first installation was May 2008 in Elkjop stores in Norway, with additional installations at a variety of consumer electronics retailers throughout the UK, Belgium, Germany and France. The program is designed to run indefinitely. UK-based retailer DSG is planning to roll the program out to several hundred of its stores in Europe because of the demonstrated increase in sales lift of PCs and peripherals.

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes P-O-P Marketing Strategy: The Clorox Disinfecting Wipes (CDW) Retail Dispenser Stand is a branded, customized, 500-count disinfecting wipe dispenser that allows retail consumers to disinfect their shopping carts as they enter the store. The primary objective of the dispenser stand is to provide a valuable and dramatic service to store guests that reinforces the brand, demonstrates the productÕs efficacy and drives purchases. The secondary objective is to enhance the retailerÕs image for consumers by offering a valuable, free service.
The Clorox Displays can be branded for each store chain. Cornerstone designed an injection-molded dispenser to hold a special 500-count roll of wipes, specifically created for the stand. The dispenser is easy to use and to refill, and attaches to the display or to a wall-mount adapter.
The display was designed to be clean, attractive, and easy to use. The displays store extra wipe rolls behind the side panels, which also allow access to the trash receptacle.
After receiving rave reviews from retailers during the test period, the CDW Display and Dispenser is currently rolled out to store chains nationwide. The dispenser stand reminds consumers of the need to disinfect and of CloroxÕs equity for disinfecting. The patron can grab a wipe, disinfect their cart and then dispose of it in the wastebasket provided in the stand. The stand has signage to prompt people to use the wipes and reminds them that the wipes are provided as a courtesy of the retailer and Clorox. There is often a CDW display near the dispenser to allow consumers to conveniently pick up canisters for their personal use. Cornerstone worked with Clorox closely on all aspects of the project, including development, engineering and production of the large dispenser, which can be used as a wall-mounted unit.

BEST P.O.P. CAMPAIGN OF THE YEAR:
Challenge
Create a merchandising program for Minn Kota's expanded line of fresh and salt water trolling motors, options, and accessories for use in independent marine dealers and mass merchants. The program must reflect Minn Kota's leading product technology and quality provide product information, promote an up-sell to more expensive models, options and accessories. To enable in store and at trade show demonstrations of stow and deploy actions for bow mount tolling motors.
Result
A sturdy, contemporary and adaptable display system was our answer. The display is ordered in a variety of configurations and can be easily reconfigured in the field without tools. This allows the display to adapt to any merchandising demand for any of Minn Kota's products.
Trolling motors can be displayed in either the bow or transom mount positions. The display design allows for the merchandising and demonstration of a unique stow and deploy system, foot pedal control and key fob product demonstrations. Product information feature panels are positioned at eye level and support the up-sell to higher priced motors, options and accessories. An optional catalog holder provides customers with buying decision information. A concealed storage space in the base adds unexpected convenience for the to retailer. Optional slat wall panels on the back provide an opportunity to cross-merchandise a full assortment of accessories.
A high visibility two-sided "flying bridge header sign" identifies the Minn Kota Brand.
The display was so well received by retailers that Minn Kota elected to use this display to satisfy another merchandising strategy for which a second display was originally needed. This has provided Minn Kota with an easier to manage and overall less-expensive merchandising program. As a turnkey display provider, W/M custom configures each display and fulfills customer orders from our warehouse.
Durable black textured powder coated steel tube frames with laser cut sheet metal side panels. Solid wood-backed marine grade carpeted deck for multiple mountings of motors.
