Display Showcases Decorative Mirrors

United Design Corporation, Noble, OK, is using this unique display unit to showcase its introduction of the Looking Glass Gallery 2001 Premier Collection of Decorative Wall Mirrors. This collection of 32 mirrors and 8 companion wall sconces and wall pockets brings design and function to this essential home accessory. Mirror sizes range from 10x 10 inches to 21 x 28 inches.

The Looking Glass Gallery Collection redesigns the basic mirror to uniquely reflect the current trends in home accents and accessories. This collection's use of elaborate three-dimensional design in sculpted art, combined with the elegance of mirrored glass, makes each one a true reflection of beauty. Four, distinctive design themes are featured: Art Nouveau, Contemporary, Natural Reflections and Shabby Chic.

Merchandising the new Looking Glass Gallery Collection is made simple by utilizing its attractive, movable display rack. It is designed specifically for quick and easy in-store set up, and can be rolled from spot to spot within a store.



GNC Launches In-Mall Displays For ‘Hot’ Products

General Nutrition Centers is testing a new marketing concept that places cart kiosks in major malls nationwide, where GNC already has stores, increasing the visibility and accessibility of GNC products.

The cart kiosks will feature some of GNC’s best-selling products, including ArginMax, which is scientifically designed to support male and female satisfaction; and GNC's Scan Diet, a nutritionally complete meal replacement product for consumers who are striving to lose and/or maintain their weight.

Roberta Gaffga, GNC Sr. V.P., Marketing, said, “This is an exercise in one-on-one marketing that places a small selection of GNC’s hottest products right in front of consumers in major metropolitan malls. The cart kiosk program not only introduces consumers to our best selling products, it also serves as a roadmap pointing them to our stores in these malls. This is truly low-cost, consumer friendly marketing.”

Shea Products Inc., offers PowerGrids/Swing grids, patent pending, used in pegged plan-o-gram sections where a retail or brand marketer would like to increase selling space for promotional sales. Duracell/Home Depot Rolling Rack

This almost 6' display guarantees a dominant presence in the Home Depot environment. Each of the display's six shelves restock easily with the selling trays provided to Home Depot containing 20-30 batteries each. The sturdy sheet metal shelves support the battery's weight. Casters allow the display to be easily relocated anywhere in the Home Depot stores even when fully loaded with hundreds of pounds of products. A metal X brace at the back of the unit guarantees stability. A sloped graphic panel provides consumers with product information, while the sloping design keeps the area from being used as a shelf. Ducane Outdoor Grill Accessories Display

This two-sided floor display is constructed of metal, wire and plastic. It features 4-color graphics on the curved plastic end panels and 2-color header signs. The unit offers a complete line of outdoor grilling accessories to major retail chains. The objective was to increase distribution and market share. Goodmark Slim Jim Handi-Pak Powerwing

This display was designed as a modular unit with the limited real estate of the convenient store environment in mind. Its versatility is perfectly suited to the needs of the retailer. The Powerwing itself can be displayed on a wire rack and houses four gravity-fed sleeves that can be removed and hung by themselves as mini-wings. Both options utilize the large graphic areas to tie in with the widely recognized Slim Jim marketing campaign elements. The unit is shipped pre-packed and is extremely easy to set up. "Joy of Pepsi" Twin Tower Display

This display is large in size and capacity. The showcasing columns allow for cross merchandising with other products. The unit features multi-vision technology (MVT), a high impact signage system that moves printed inserts electronically behind a lenticular lens, rotating four different messages. Kohler Aisle Display For “Big Box” Stores

The Kohler Company needed a display to help merchandise faucets in secondary aisle locations in the “Big Box” format stores. The display presents the quality Kohler brand at the point of sale. It is strong enough to hold a cast iron sink, maintain an inventory of faucets (adjustable shelves), is mobile (heavy casters are provided), and requires minimum set up. Jim Beam Floorstand

This display was created to provide a permanent floor display that would appeal to young, non-traditional bourbon consumers. The display merchandises any mix of product sizes in a small footprint and is shoppable on three sides making the unit retailer and consumer friendly. The contemporary floorstand design uses a red and black color scheme incorporating a high tech aluminimum finish to replace the traditional "wood" bourbon display image.
