KitchenAid Launches Retail Kiosks

KitchenAid recently retained Centerville, OH-based media solutions provider, Cloonan + Associates, to develop a kiosk for use nationwide at The Great Indoors, the new home store owned by the Sears Corp.

Lillian Rappette, Sales Trade Marketing Manager for KitchenAid, said, “The kiosk is a comprehensive, interactive learning center for our consumers and cutting-edge merchandising tool for our retailers. KitchenAid recognized the importance of enhancing the purchase experience and providing home enthusiasts with a revolutionary resource to help them with their buying decisions.”

KitchenAid’s kiosk showcases over 100 different kitchen appliances and product accessories. It provides more than 60 different product videos, KitchenAid culinary event listings, free gourmet recipes, warranty information, a kitchen gallery album for remodeling inspiration, and a marketing software application that tracks and monitors consumer preferences.

The Cloonan team completed the software development, videos and graphic design. Exhibit Concepts, based in Vandalia, OH, built the kiosk cabinetry.


Imagin Air Displays AeroBed Products

Rapid Displays of Chicago, IL, was asked by Imagin Air to create a permanent display solution for retail locations to hold a significant quantity of its AeroBed products.

To help Imagin Air organize its retail space, Rapid Displays created a simple and elegant, laminated wood display, which holds 24 AeroBeds.

The AeroBed display features inflatable beds and pools manufactured by Imagin Air. Rapid Displays was responsible for the design, manufacturing packaging and shipping of the display.



Woodway Manufacturing Company Inc. offers Country Hutches, sturdy maple stock units, painted rustic off-white. The unit includes hardware, assembly tool and shipping carton. The displays are available in custom sizes to fit any product, in a stained or painted finish. A header can be printed with company logo and product name. The stock display can be shipped in five days, or if customized, shipment takes about 4 weeks. Clif Wood Floor Display

This display was designed to market Clif nutrition bars, Clif Ice bars and Shot Entergy Gel. The wooden floor display with maple wood uprights features seven metal shelves. The rack has a four-color, die-cut header and four-color side panels to maximize consumer awareness for the Clif brand name. "C" channels are designed on the front of the shelves to accommodate interchangeable graphics. The Clif Wood Floor Display was created by Display Technologies, 111-01 14th Avenue, College Point, NY 11356



Tecate Wooden Sign

This wooden sign was designed with a weathered look to resemble the top of an old packing crate bearing the message "Hecho en Mexico," a sales message used to reinforce Tecate's authentic Mexican origins. The overall design scheme was created to tie in with Tecate's authentic Mexican brand image by creating a rustic display to compliment the decor of theme restaurants and bars. The graphics are screen printed on distressed wood. The unit reinforces the client's brand image with a Mexican beach theme. The look of the display helped it to gain placement in casual resort settings and theme bars. The Tecate Wooden Sign was created by Heritage Sign & Display, 344 Industrial Drive, P.O. Nantucket Nectors Floor Display

This display for Nantucket Nectors was engineered to hold and show over 200 bottles of the product. The unit features a colorful header to provide brand recognition. The five shelf unit showcases the product and provides support for the bottles. The Nantucked Nectors Floor Display was created by Coastal Woodworks, P.O. Box 137, Nobleboro, ME 04555.


Bank One Kiosk Features Home Banking System

This Bank One Kiosk was designed to explain the banks “Home Banking System” at all branch locations. The interactive display is easy for the consumer to use without the assistance of bank personnel. It’s contemporary design and bold graphics help to draws the attention of bank customers. A clear message and easy instructions allows the customers to interact with the touch screen. This Bank One Kiosk was created by CDA Industries Inc. 1055 Squires Beach Road Pickering, Ontario L1W 4A6 Canada.
