Starbucks Brings Coffeehouse Experience To Chicago

Starbucks Chicago recently debuted a café makeover bringing a coffeehouse experience to Chicago. The redesigned Starbucks coffeehouses across Chicago and other markets feel warmer, more welcoming and rooted in their communities, turning quick stops into places to gather, work and linger. Softer seating, warmer finishes and cozy touches in the renovated Starbucks cafés invite customers to stay longer, not just stop by.
The Chicago redesigns are part of the Back to Starbucks plan, aimed at strengthening human connection. Starbucks focused on softer seating, warm colors and textures throughoutthe space, table lamps, plants, and a redesigned espresso bar that gives customers a view of baristas making drinks.
The new coffeehouses are designed to reflect the feel of their neighborhoods. Since Chicago is known for its industrial architecture, the design threads references to that heritage with exposed ceilings and ductwork, made warmer through intimate seating, textures and colors.
