Jason Buechel will take on an expanded responsibility leading Amazon Worldwide Grocery Stores, while maintaining his current role as CEO of Whole Foods Market, according to an announcement by Worldwide Amazon Stores CEO Doug Herrington. Prior to his role as CEO, Buechel served as COO, providing operational leadership over all WFM physical stores.
